The Welcome Wagon

In which we find out what happened after Tony delivered his fruitcake...

After the *cough* mysterious *cough* disappearance of his fruitcake, Tony obliged us by helping himself to the kitchen facilities, and whipped up a plate of peanut butter cookies.

Diana: “Are they nut-free peanut butter cookies? It’s important to be careful of everyone’s possible allergies!”

Tony does not care for this line of questioning.  Also, he feels like the term ‘peanut’ should be clue enough that the cookies aren’t nut-free.

Justin dutifully prepares himself something else in the background so that his mom doesn’t worry about him eating the possibly life threatening cookies.

Only Tony, Justin, Diana and Cassidy were a part of the official welcome wagon, but Briar decided to crash the party also.

All the young people (and Kon), eventually retired to the upstairs patio to socialize, eat pancakes, and play chess.

Either Kon is trying to be cool and hang with the kids, or perhaps more likely, he finds their conversations easier to follow :D

Another Ayar Ages Up

In which we celebrate the lovely Miss Meredith...

It’s Meredith’s birthday, and this time we’re starting with the main event!

Regina: *poses for no reason*

Meredith: “Yup, hot; I knew it!”

She’s also a complete Kon clone, and rolled Active as her second trait.

Did you think we weren’t going to have a party?

Justin: “Silly you, there has to be party; dad wants to dance.”

And dance he does.  Terry comes to the Ayar parties for one reason, and one reason only, and it’s not the cake!

Why does everyone make this face when Kon corners them for a conversation?

Faith: *does not want*

The Corleonesi’s show up, and make a beeline for the nursery again...Mayua really likes the nursery for some reason.

After that smooch on the cheek, however, Mayua started in on him about something.

Tony: *skeptical eyebrow*

Then she stormed off...must be the pregnancy hormones?

Mayua: *randomly hugs Penny*

I’m really quite worried about her...

Anyway, almost everyone gathered in the living room, and for once Terry isn’t dancing!

Oh, nevermind, there he goes again.

Raet is really feelin’ it too.

And then, abruptly, everyone single filed right out of the house.

I ah...I guess the party is over then!

Eyes up, Tony!

We’re having a partyyy! Hakor is about to enter the young adulthood. And this time the attendance was really high. 

Their dad may be banned from the Stiles household, but the Dyson boys are Hakor’s friends and were invited. 

What’s Christian’s problem back there I have no idea.

The usual suspects arrived... Hai part-time-chief Froots! Nico unimpressed obviously. Probably have seen grand-er parties at the Heffners (thanks to Candy).

Tony was in one of his non-socializing moods today. I feel you, man. Too many people in there. Not even Froot was enough to make him join the crowd this time. The lack of dirty bathtubs also didn’t help. Alas, the Stiles have clean coats installed in their tubs. This is not their summer house in Sulani.

Cassidy looked adorbs as always. She had her eyes on Leo almost all night instead of her bf Hakor. 

As did Froot if we are to be honest. What’s a single lady supposed to do when Tony’s hiding outisde, right?

Speaking of Tony... Somehow he discovered Arthur’s secret cave and hacked into played on his computer. That was until Hattie came down there with Hakor and asked Tony nicely to let the boy play too. Tony wasn’t happy at all. For a moment it really looked he would commit a murder.

The time has come for Hattie to enter the realm of the forty year olds. Summer in Sulani and all the pregnancies have finally caught up with her figure. 

The party is in full swing. The usual suspects arrive...

Still single Froot keeps giving Tony longing looks. She believes they have a special bond after the bathtub cleaning, but Tony has eyes for the fridge only.

Terry is giving a talking to teen Cassidy who tried to sneak out with Hakor. It’s not easy for him not being his daughter’s hero and role model anymore.

Their exchange is interupted when they notice Froot and Tony all alone at the kitchen table.

Froot: “What are you looking at, Terry? Mind your own business and keep parenting.”

A game of cards ensued later in the afternoon. I wish I could see how the game would go in real life.

I think Terry was concerned. Those three are evil sims he’s playing with. Anything can happen.

Terry: “No cheating, Corleonesi, you hear me?”

Tony: “Why do you think I need to cheat?”

Terry: “Because you’re a damn cheating cheater who can’t help himself.”

Hattie’s having fun on the water slide. Arthuro is shook by his wife’s conduct. Midlife crisis? He thinks.

I see what is going on here. The Heffners are going to have their own private little party when they get back home, it seems.

Tony is still not impressed by anything...

Nico decided that after all the parties he was at in the Stileses’ house, it’s time to finally introduce himself properly to Arthur. 😂

Do I even need to comment on what’s Tony’s opinion on this? Yes, you’ve guessed it. Unmoved.
