You laid there, staring at the bright numbers on the clock ticking by. Another sleepless night. You rolled over, hand on his shoulder, whispering softly.
"Dean. Dean? You awake?"
But you got nothing back. Eventually you heard soft snoring, all hope of him being awake lost.
You decided to get up, get a drink, do anything but lay there for another four hours.
You made your way down the creaky old stairs and into the kitchen where you saw you weren't the only one still up.
"Hey" Sam said softly, eyes heavy but relentlessly open "Can't sleep?"
"Mhm" You nodded, rubbing your own eyes, moving to get a drink "How long have you been up?"
"I've been in here for about twenty minutes, but I still haven't been to sleep. You?"
"Same. Dean's sleeping though. Snoring. I'm bunking with you next time"
"Hey, you drew the short straw"
You laughed lightly, barely, but enough to make him smile.
You waved your hand, motioning for him to follow you. You plopped down on the old couch, onto something surprisingly lumpy when you heard a low, monoutus voice.
"I'm still here"
You jumped up "Fuck, Cas, 'm sorry. Didn't see you there"
"That is clear"
"Wait" Sam started "I thought you didn't sleep?"
"I don't. My Grace is, as Dean would say, running low. I wanted to rest"
"Sorry, Sweetie" You cooed, gently grabbing his hand "Why don't you come with me?"
He half-furrowed his brows, too tired to care, and followed after you. You gingerly pushed the door open, guiding him to the bed.
"Here, it'd be comfier than the couch"
"Thank you" He nodded, slipping under the covers before promptly jumping back out "There's someone in there"
You suppressed a laugh "It's just Dean. You'll be fine" You leaned in close to whisper right in his ear "He likes being the little spoon"
Cas had watched enough TV to understand what you meant, slipping back in the bed, carefully curling his arms around the hunter. Who pressed back immediately, burrowing further into Cas.
You went back to the living room as quickly as possible, grabbing Sam's arms and burying your face in his chest to contain your laughter.
"What did you do?"
You barely pulled back enough to talk "Put the gayest Angel in the Garrison in your brother's bed"
"You're evil"
"Mhm" You nodded, stuffing your giggles back down.
"I wish I thought of that"
You both laughed, trying to keep quiet. You soon moved to the couch and sat down without an angelic lump under the blanket. You and Sam talked for a while, about nothing and everything like you usually did when you couldn't sleep. After a couple of hours, just before the sun started to rise, your head felt heavy, lolling to the side, his shoulder.
He tugged the blanket out from behind you, flipping it over to cover you both as he laid back. He carefully kicked his leg under yours, pulling you up, his hands on your back and arm. You soon settled, palm to his chest, eyes fluttering shut. The repeated rhythm of his heartbeat along with the rise and fall of his chest under your cheek lulled you to sleep and he followed soon after.
After the sun was up, so was the father. Meaning Bobby nearly stumbled out of his room, making his way to the kitchen for coffee. He spotted you and Sam on the way, smiling for a second, noticing the way both of your legs hung off the end of the couch, tangled up and undoubtedly uncomfortable.
"Gotta get a bigger couch" He mumbled to himself, finding the two of you there had been a regular occurrence as of late.
He turned around, deciding to leave you two there, knowing you'd had another night free from rest. Then a scream echoed through the old house, waking you and Sam, prompting Bobby to reach for his gun before he turned to you.
"Kid?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you put the Angel in Dean's bed again?"
"…maybe?"
"Alright" Bobby nodded once "You dug your grave, I'm goin' back to bed"

Summary: Finding a cat on the side of the road with your babysitter angel… what could go wrong?
A/N: Get it? Instead of ‘Of Mice and Men’?… I’ll leave now
Please don’t plagiarize my work, you may reblog if you like but I’m asking that you don’t steal my hard work
Castiel’s eyebrows furrowed and his head tilted as he looked down at the carpet, “Is it supposed to be doing that?”
You giggled, putting a hand over your mouth as your rocked back and forth slightly, sticking your hand out to pet the kitten below you, “It’s just sneezing, Cassie.”
“Is it sick?” The angel was beginning to grow concerned. What was he supposed to do if the young thing got sick?
Another laugh escaped your lips, “No, silly! It’s just sneezing.”
“You said that already.” He mumbled, gently petting the small thing with his large hands.
Your brothers, Sam and Dean, were out on a simple hunt for the day, and seeing as you were only five and couldn’t be left in the bunker all by yourself, they asked Cass to babysit you for a couple hours.
He did it very gladly, always enjoying your company.
The two of you had gone into town in the beginning for a quick ice cream run- as insisted on by you- and were just about to go back home when you had heard a tiny ‘meow’ coming from behind a trash can.
You had rushed to take a closer look before Cass could stop you, and you had gasped when you came across a tiny orange and white kitten laying down on the ground.
It had no collar and there were no people around to claim it, so you had used your best puppy dog eyes on the angel to beg him to let you take it home, and he hesitantly agreed- not able to refuse you when you were making that face.
He had made you promise though that you would both bring it back before Sam and Dean got home, knowing they would either throw a fit or have a heart attack if they saw it- quite possibly both.
It mewed again softly and crawled its way over Cass’s foot, and began chewing slightly on the toe of his shoe.
“That is not food.” He tired explaining to it, lifting it up and putting it slowly on the ground right in front of you.
You weren’t really paying attention to him though, as your eyes were narrowed slightly in concentration, “We need to name him.” You mumbled, rubbing a hand on your chin like you had seen Dean do when he was thinking.
“Is that the best idea?” Castiel asked hesitantly, “I have heard that naming something can make you attached to it, and we need to give this back.”
You weren’t paying him any mind, though, as you continued to rub your hand against your chin, “I got it!” You finally announced, sticking your pointer finger up in the air, “Sir Fuzzy-Bottom Mittens!”
The angel stayed silent. Blinking at you once. Twice. Then looked down at the kitten before him, observing, “It is fitting.” He admitted, reaching over and petting him again.
You squealed in excitement, a large smile growing on your face, lifting Sir Fuzzy- Bottom Mittens to your face and rubbing his nose with yours, “I love you, Sir Fuzzy-Bottom Mittens.” You declared happily.
Castiel knew that at the moment, no matter what he did, nothing would separate you from your new found cat/ best friend, and he didn’t think it would be wise to even try.
The next hour was spent with the two of you playing with him using yarn, brushing him with Sammy’s hairbrush, and you even tried to teach him how to play fetch with some of Dean's socks.
The grin never once dropped from your face, and that made Castiel happy because he knew that there was nothing that could take away that joy from you at the moment.
That is, until the door to the bunker opened.
“Hey, we’re home!” Dean's voice rang through the halls, and yours and Castiel's eyes widened in horror.
“Where are you guys?” Sam called, his footsteps being heard getting closer and closer to your room.
Both of you scrambled up, blocking the cat just in time for the door to open and both of your brothers to step in.
“There you are.” Dean said with a grin, striding over with a smile and trying to pick you up so he could hug you.
You dug your heels firmly into the rug though, keeping put on the ground.
This made his eyebrows furrow as he pulled away, “What is it? What’s wrong?”
He and Sam both glanced between you and Cass, neither one of you allowing yourselves to make eye contact with the brothers.
A tiny sneeze was then heard throughout the room.
The boy's eyes widened and they quickly craned their necks to look behind you.
“Is-is that a cat?” Dean stuttered out in shock, staring with wide eyes at him.
“Wh-huh-how-“ Sam continued to stutter, unable to believe his own eyes.
“His name is Sir Fuzzy-Bottom Mittens.” You grumbled, crossing your arms and glaring cutely at the floor.
“Sir, what?” Dean yelled out in horror.
“Dean, listen,” Cass tried to reason, “It’s not that bad-“
“Not that bad?” His voice was strained, “Cass, do you have any idea-“
“Are you going to get rid of him now?” Your little voice cut Dean off as you looked up at your brothers with wide and tearfilled eyes.
“Well, I mean-“ Sam fell short as he looked at you and he could practically see your hopes and dreams being shattered in your eyes, “We can keep it.” He gave in with a sigh.
“We can?” Both you and Dean shrieked at the same time, both with very different tones and both for very different reasons.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” You cheered, throwing yourself into Dean's arms and latching onto him like a koala.
As he looked down at you- just like Cass- he knew he couldn’t say no.
Instead, he signed and leaned down to kiss the top of your head, “Yeah, kid, we can keep it.”
“Hear that, Cassie?” You asked excitedly, turning to the trench coated angel.
He smiled lightly, “I heard that, Y/n.”
He sat down on the other side of you, reaching out to pet Sir Fuzzy- Bottom Mittens and continue to play with the two of you, closely followed by Sam and Dean.
“Okay, Mr Fuzzy- Bottom Mittens,” Dean mumbled, gently picking the tiny thing up, “guess you’re apart of the family now.”

HIGH SCHOOL WAS something for you and it was definitely something when your family are supernatural hunters. Being Dean Winchester's daughter meant having the best protection from an angel, a nephilim, and of course, your father and uncle.
When you first met Jack, you felt a feeling that you have never felt with anyone else. At first, you thought it was anxiety or fear from the fact that Jack was Lucifer's son, but soon enough, it was something good.
The hints that you've noticed from Jack such as him being close to you at all times, or him smiling brightly when you would walk into his room, hinted clearly how Jack had some sort of attraction to you as well.
Soon enough, when Jack finally got the gist of how human feelings worked, he confessed how he couldn't stand a life without you. He would gush about how important you were to him and how he wanted to protect you at all costs. That was the day he asked you to be his girlfriend.
And you proudly said yes.
This brings you to this day, where school was more bearable with your slightly reconstructed life. When you started to date Jack, life became somewhat more admissable as you had something to look forward to when you came home.
You were currently coming out of soccer practice and one of your decent acquaintances walked up to you.
"Hey, Y/n. Are you free tonight? I'm having this big party and you should definitely come." Lexi was a really sweet person and you knew her parties were fun. You thought about it for a while considering how overprotective your family is. But you said yes anyway, wanting to have a fun time.
"Sure, I'll see you tonight."
ஓ๑♥๑ஓ
Back at the bunker, you gave your family a dramatic entrance as you started to sing aloud abruptly, definitely gaining the attention of the boys.
Jack was the first one to greet you and he gave you one of his heartwarming hugs and a small kiss on your cheek.
"Hi Y/n, how was school today? I also made your favorite because I know you had a long day at today." You stared at Jack in awe, finding it sweet how he would make you a grilled cheese when you came home from school.
"Thanks, Jack. What would I do without you?"
"I should be the one asking you that. You mean a lot to me, Y/n." A smile crept upon your lips and you were about to kiss Jack until you heard the booming voice of your father.
"Hey! Six feet apart kids," Dean said, getting in between you and Jack, him spreading his arms out, pretending to stretch.
"So funny, dad," you said sarcastically. You weren't too certain when you should ask your father if you could go to the party, but you didn't have to ask when he saw the look on your face.
"I know that look, what's up?" Surprised by his diligent attention, you shot your head up slightly caught off guard.
"Oh, well...what makes you think there's something up?"
"Whenever you're nervous, you always fidget with your charm bracelet." You silently cursed to yourself, seeing how you gave away the hint of wanting something. Sighing in defeat, you decided to tell Dean about the party.
"So I got invited to this party and I was won--"
Before you could even finish your sentence, Dean cut you off abruptly, knowing where this was going to go.
"No. Nope. Nope, definitely not. You're not going to a party and that's final." Dean's voice made it clear he was serious, but you being the stubborn person you were, insisted.
"Dad, come on, it's going to be fun, plus you know I'm responsible enough." Dean consistently shook his head, not comfortable with you going to a party.
"I know you're responsible enough, I don't trust the people there. Who knows who a person can be what? I'm done talking about this, you're not going and I made my decision."
You huffed out in annoyance, knowing you weren't going to win this argument, so you stomped back into your room, Jack following your trail. Now you were on to plan b which was sneaking out.
ஓ๑♥๑ஓ
You hated how you had to lie to Jack, but you knew he wouldn't let you out either, seeing how often he worries about you as well.
The last time you went out when you weren't supposed to, Jack put two fingers on your forehead and knocked you out. So you knew this time wouldn't be any different.
Being as discreet as you possibly could, you slowly escaped the bunker doors and proceeded to walk towards Lexi's house. Luckily, her house wasn't too far from yours.
Once you arrived, lights and music boomed through the doors. Lexi greeted you as she was drunk and you smiled at her seeing her true side.
You gulped down a couple of shots and stood against the wall, taking in the vibes of drunk teenagers. Suddenly a man came up towards you, a sly and douchey smirk plastered on his face.
"Hey, hottie, what's a gorgeous woman like you doing all alone? And a better question, why are you not with me?" You rolled your eyes at him and attempted to walk away, but he grabbed your wrist tightly.
"I didn't say you could walk away, baby." He started to walk closer towards your body, your personal space definitely invaded. Now you were done. You put your drink down and grabbed his wrist, twisting it making him scream in agony.
You could have easily broken his arm, but you didn't want to make a big scene. "Touch me again, and you will regret it." He had a petrified look on his face and put up his hands in surrender, but you knew he was still a massive dick.
Unfortunately, when you put your drink down, you weren't paying attention enough to notice that your drink was spiked.
You took a couple sips of your drink and you felt free, but the sudden feeling of dizziness overwhelmed your body, blackness filling your vision.
ஓ๑♥๑ஓ
When you gained consciousness once more, you noticed the music wasn't blaring and the setting changed. You were now in an empty warehouse, rust on the walls and live wire lamps.
"Well, well, who knew the youngest Winchester would have her life ended by going to a teenage party." You glared at the man, not sure what he was, but then he blinked, his eyes turning black, now evident he was a demon.
"Son of a bitch, let me go." You said weakly, the drugs still having an effect on you. He just smiled evilly and closed the door, leaving you alone.
You took this opportunity to pray to Jack, hoping he was awake to hear your prayer.
"Jack, baby, if you're hearing this, I n-need help."
ஓ๑♥๑ஓ
When Jack heard your prayer, he sprinted to your room, waking up Sam and Dean, Castiel already being awake considering he doesn't sleep.
When he saw you weren't in your room, fear and anger started to overcome his body.
"Jack, what's wrong, "Castiel asked, the two older Winchester's alerted while walking out of their room.
"Y/n sent me a prayer, something wrong and she's not in her room." Jack then closed his eyes and focused on you. He saw your distressed state and to say he was angry was an understatement.
His eyes started to glow gold and his body was shaking in anger.
Being so angry that you were in trouble and somebody is hurting you, Jack didn't even say another word as he used his wings and teleported to your location. His rage was still fuming through his body as he saw the demon holding a knife and walking towards you.
Not hesitating, Jack reached out his arm as golden circles filled the room, instantly killing the other demons.
Once he saw the perpetrators were dead, Jack saw the sight of you and his eyes blinked back to blue.
"Y/n!" Jack ran to your side and broke the chains off of your body easily. He instantly pulled you into a hug and you didn't hesitate to show your tears as you desperately needed comfort from your boyfriend.
"I'm sorry Jack, I shouldn't have left," you sobbed into his shoulder. He gently kissed your head, the feeling of his warmth comforting you.
"Don't worry, Y/n, you're okay. How about we go home and watch that one internet service...what was it called..N-N-"
"You mean Netflix?" You said with a stifled laugh.
"Yeah! Let's watch Netflix." You nodded your head and Jack teleported back to the bunker, relief filling your body.
A/N: Preferences are shorter and easier to do, I’m gonna start doing them when I have time!
Sam
Sam would immediately freeze, and soften his face as he looked at you cautiously. He'd immediately apologize, and wrap his arms around you tightly. He'd rest his chin on your head and stroke your arm softly while telling you that everything is okay now and that he'd never hurt you no matter what. for the next couple of days he'd do whatever he could to ensure that you felt safe and to take care of you.
Dean
Dean would be slightly hurt at the fact that you thought he would ever hurt you but would soon erase it from memory as he tells you that he'd never hurt you, not in a million years. He'd know how to calm you down and try to erase the fight from both of your memories but after that he would feel guilty and avoid you for the next couple of days until something happens, most likely another hunt. The whole situation would be forgotten by the two of you and you'd both go back to before.
Castiel
Castiel would be slightly confused at first, thinking it was natural for you to do that. Arguments with him would never really last long, either he or you would give up on it. After some time, Castiel would ask you what happened and why you flinched. After realizing why, he would assure you that he would never even think about hurting you and if anyone were to lay even a finger on you without your consent he would break their fingers and smite them. He'd unintentionally try and make you laugh, and afterwards he'd go on a small shopping spree and get you a crap ton of food to make you feel better.
Summary; Being empty inside is a natural description for both y/n and Castiel. They are the lesser of their kinds, despite fighting for their causes for so long. But that rendering sensation has helped bring them closure, for they understand each other in a way that nobody else can quite comprehend.
Warnings; minor angst, mention of death, little bit of fluff i guess, insecurities, being compared to others, frustration
The anatomy of a human was a strange thing to sight, but the feelings were just as confusing.
Each of the Winchesters were complex beings, even whilst being such small, insect like examples of existence.
When God had created them, he was proud, but Castiel was confused as to why that was.
He was a warrior of Heaven, he had seen great things in his blinding vision, and this, the experience of watching them, having to pretend to be so tender for his cause was confusing.
Dean was outright blunt; a part of the angel liked that about him. There was no cutting corners with the eldest sibling, and a part of him appreciated that.
Although, to tell the truth, admittedly the celestial being found it hard to read him.
He used things like ‘sarcasm’, as the primates had described it, often. And it bugged him to no end.
It was simply saying something with exaggerated efforts, whilst meaning another. It was a feature he couldn’t quite comprehend the importance or use of.
Then, there was Sam, the middle child, and the perfect vessel of Lucifer. It didn’t matter what happened to him in the long run, but for now it did, considering Dean’s ample rendering of how he needed him so.
There was no splitting apart the siblings, for they were one another’s life lines, as he had come to learn.
Somehow, and it amazed Castiel, all of Sam’s mistakes were cast aside, even at the most dire times. Their reluctance to give up on one another was downright noble, yet irritating all the same.
The youngest of the brothers was a hazard for the other; his inclination and addiction of drinking demon blood didn’t sway the counsel of the angels.
It only reminded them that their brother that was cast away, was to one day return in order to bring the world on its knees so that the apocalypse could overcome every obstacle on it.
And finally, there was the sister of the sibling trio. Y/n, and if Castiel speculated correctly, then she was the logically smartest out of them all.
Her attitude towards him was simple; she understood why he kept on his main course. There was no reason for him not to, he had never been taught differently, and he was doing nothing more than his duty.
If anything, he could sense a breath of pity filling the air anytime they were in each other’s company.
There were so many words that made reasonable sentences in her head, but she opted to remain silent, knowing that he preferred it that way.
He wasn’t at all there for her, his mission was to protect Dean, as proven whence he grasped him out of perdition.
That was no bother to her, it only made things awkward, as she would put it. Castiel, to his feathery luck never experienced such uncomfortable feelings.
But she still, no matter kept that human weakness about herself, foolishly embracing it as though it served any good against the dark forces squandering and escaping hell.
Again, her family was her purpose to fight, and admittedly, they knew as well as he did, that that factor would be each of their downfalls.
And as he sat in the motel room, awaiting their ambitious return, when the door swung open, it was the female alone. There was dirt smothering her face, and trapped in the cords of her hair, and Castiel frowned at the sight of her.
“Dammit!” She kicked the bedpost, gaining the utmost intrigue out of the angel.
Y/n was never one to be so blatant in expressing her frustrated emotions, but it appeared that tonight, something had happened, and irked her greatly.
It confused Cas, as Dean had dubbed him, as to why she was behaving that way, and so, he simply asked.
“Has something unwanted happened during the hunt that you went on with your brothers?”
It was a first, seeing her wearing a scowl aimed directly towards him, but eventually she sighed, and let her guarded expression fall down, and crumble at her feet.
“That’s one way to put it.” A somber sigh followed after her words, confirming her active annoyance, of which the angel assumed was not pardoning her siblings. “Dean was saying, or ‘simply giving me the idea’, of hitting the road, and missing this whole apocalypse business. He thinks I should live life a little before, in case he and Sam don’t manage to stop it.”
Castiel clasped his hands together, he had seen people do the same in chapels when praying, but he was not wishing to speak to his father, for he knew that there would be a lack of response.
It was instead a mannerism that the body that he was borrowing found comfort in doing, and so he was inclined to allow it follow its natural instincts.
“Have you ever thought that your brother has wanted a normal life for you? I think that was how he meant to come across, and you simply may never have another chance to experience such a way of living if things fail.”
The angel leant forward, watching as her brow furrowed with a signal of distress. Her mind was torn, stuck between two things; the desire to run and never look back on this life, and the other to remain, and fight beside her family, or at least what was left of it.
“Yeah, a normal life.” A humoured laugh slipped from her chapped and thirsty lips, her head nodding at the prospect. “I am sure that is why he taught me how to shoot a gun, and behead my first vampire.”
She sat alongside the angel, he was not sure why, but he thought she may have found comfort in being beside someone, even in his case it be a celestial, powerful force that was a warrior of the above. “Are your family the same; do they think that they know what is best for you?”
He wasn’t used to being asked questions, at home, as he knew it as, he was instructed. His opinions nor the thoughts in his mind were never up for discussion; if he stepped out of line, he would surely be compared to Lucifer. And that was a major insult, if not the worst for his kind.
“My father, wherever he is, has everything in an avid plan. There is a reason for everything; after all, he is the creator of all life, and each individual atom of it. We are all his children, from the plants to the great and ferocious creatures of the Sahara. It is no doubt that God knows best.”
Despite being intrigued by humans, this one in very particular, he was still loyal to his original course. No matter how swayed he felt, there was no absence in getting off track from it.
“But what if he doesn’t?”
In the form of it, it felt like an insult, but Castiel remained silent, allowing the lesser being woman to continue her speculator dialogue.
There was no harm in words, so long as it didn’t push down the belief of his father, or revealed that she was on the alternative side. “The Bible makes you out to be some great warriors, and I understand that the stories are written rom mankind’s scripture, however, if he is so holy and prosperous, he shouldn’t need his children to complete his bidding. With a snap of his transparent fingers, all the bad, anything that opposes him could be gone. So why isn’t that the route he takes to fix his troubles?”
It was a perspective that Castiel had never thought of before, and it raised some of his enquiries in his mind that had shrunken to fit into this form.
The creations, mortal or otherwise had so many flaws, and if he wanted, he could resolve the issues in a second, overwriting anything that he simply did not like.
And if done, and all was bent to his will, then the world would be a safer habitat, and there’d be no agenda in saving it, for it would not be necessary.
“Because there is no story to it.” Muttered the resident of heaven, bowing his head in shame. “And Dean would be wrong to send you away, for you have your own, and that choice in staying, or leaving is up to you. But if you pardoned yourself from this script, then you would not be around, and out of all of you Winchesters, I find your company the most calming and least irritating. If you were one of the vessels, I would then have much, if not more, faith in your succession. However, you are not, instead you are-”
“Empty inside.” Y/n finished his sentence, able to do so because she was well aware of her worth within the universe.
The impact that she was to have on it was never to be as large as Sam or Dean’s, but that didn’t mean that it wasn’t in her best interests to make the planet a better place.
Hunting was practically all that she knew, and if that was ripped away from her, then she wouldn’t be sure what to do.
There would be no other purpose for her to live; many hunters felt the same, even if their reputations were slack and unknown.
It was the self knowledge of saving lives that served as the fuel to continue onwards, and it was the way of thousands within the unemployed business.
And most died within this life, such as her parents, and too many more. John, her father had been hellbent on finding a demon, with lustrous, dangerous yellow eyes.
But now, after his unfortunate end, and benevolent sacrifice, all that they had learnt from him and Bobby had been scrubbed clean.
They had been introduced to a new slate, one involving angelic asses, that thought it their right to boss the earthly primates around, giving them orders that were those sent by god.
But none of them knew how hard being a human was, there was no going back or turning time. All were stuck with the consequences of their rash choices, much like Lucifer, who wanted to be loved more than God’s latest project, but instead, in the rise of his destruction, was tossed aside.
To every villain, there was a reason for their change in heart. In some kind of messed up, collateral way, y/n understood the devil himself, even if she had yet to come face to face with him.
They were different, and that was okay, and Castiel was the same. He was crafted with a crack in his surface, and though he wanted to do good, he wasn’t quite sure which side served that purpose.
“Not empty.” The angel corrected her, seeing more than his brothers and sisters could in a simple human. “Rather, a haven from the chaos. The others of my family may narot be able to visualise your lack of use, in their fleeting eyes, but I happen to, very well. Whilst Sam and Dean do have a trait within your family to be both light and darkness, you are the grey between their two distinct colours. And whilst their prominence is famous, they are ignorant to all the shades that you emit. There is nothing wrong with being overlooked by an angel, instead, you should see it as an example of luck.”
“Do you overlook me, Castiel?”
Her head tilted, grasping onto every line that appeared sternly on his handsome face. They were side by side, and Castiel turned his head to be focused on her, it brought their expressions closer to one another’s naked eye.
Y/n was indeed grateful for all that he had done to help the survivors of her family, and his opinion of her, for some peculiar reason, mattered to her.
It was normal for the messengers to look down upon their stock of cattle, for they were superior in both the sights of the lord, and the mortals themselves.
And she would not be insulted if he did, for he was just another one of his kind; he was not supposed to feel anything towards her mistaken species.
Y/n knew far too well of the inclined penance that the angels were worth from humans, they had done bad by them, ruining hte home that god made for them, shaping it to die in their own pollution.
“Not at all.” And whilst his sentiment was not accompanied by a smile, or any indication at all that he wanted her to do so, y/n was too in touch with her natural motions, that she leant in and kissed Castiel.
He didn’t kiss her back, nor did he pull away, he remained still as she moved her mouth over his. “You do realise that this is not my body, do you not? I am dressed in the appearance of Jimmy Novak, we are very different and-”
“I meant to kiss you Cas, not some stranger.” Y/n informed him, upholding a sweet and innocent face. “You’re nice, for an angel. I think you were assigned to earth for more than angelic duties, I think you belong here.”
Castiel gulped at that. It was true, he was put on this vastly deficient planet due to his orders.
But he wasn’t quite following them all the way through; he was becoming rather attached to these humans, and that was why he could not let y/n leave.
It didn’t matter that his brother had suggested the idea to Dean, he was not going to allow her to depart from him.
She was the only thing that he had found in all of his eternal life that had made him prosper with the sensation for existing for more than fighting historical wars.
Before meeting her, he felt like some kind of manmade machine; empty inside, working only by the wires that were flowing with energy from a power source.
But he had found that he no longer needed that supply, for he was crafted for a figurative cause, but he had found another that he preffered.
The crack in being broke a little bit more, and he licked his thin lips, having a desire for y/n to kiss him again.
Instead, she shook her head, standing to watch out of the motel room window, and await the return of the two prominent vessels; Sam and Dean.

You still hadn't explained everything to your father nor your uncle. Cas remembered one of the episodes that occurred with you when you were younger, around ten or so. It was hard for you. Every time you tried to explain yourself, things were hard to explain. All the time, something blocked you from exposing the fear inside you, the fear of letting things out.
The way their "new" memories came to them didn't help. It was so unpredictable. Cas remembered you praying first and then, mixed memories, tiny ones, which made him assume a lot about you already; and worry as well. Dean remembered more, like the time Sam was soulless and you lived with him for months, you concluded he was remembering things by the impact they had in his life. As for Sam, well, apparently things were coming more chronologically for him, but a little late, since he also had a lot of Camila to remember.
You tried to think how to talk to them about your crisis. The big ones. It was so complicated. When it started happening, you had your godmother to help with calming down and understanding how sensible you were; but even Vanessa had to talk with the Winchesters to fully understand what made you so much stronger and sensitive. Anyway, she wouldn't help you now that she was in the list of people to whom you never existed.
Oh, and your mother...
Looking at pictures of her nowadays became an addiction. You couldn't sleep before searching a little more about her, not that you've been having much sleep or any of this helped. You wish so bad you could talk to her. And now that Sam told ya you reminded him so much of Camila, you really studied her, trying to find the resemblance.
How would you tell them there's more? More of you to worry. You wanted to wait for a time when the memories hangovers weren't so heavy on them. They were all trying to act normal, but it was obvious - you've never been at home for this long, they were never so quiet. Dean wasn't even drinking, to make sure he wouldn't be more confused.
You were lying down on your bed, trying to ease the headache. It was normal to have a day just to be tired, but after the all day just resting you still got a headache by night. Went to get a pill to make it better and when you swallow it, you realize something.
"I don't exist." You whisper to yourself.
For the first time in that day, you felt useful. Even with the headache, you got in front of the computer and started to do your thing. For some reason you got happy when you confirmed your theory.
"I was never born."
"You gotta stop thinking about that." Dean warned you.
"No, I mean... I don't exist."
The three men stared at you with confusion, you repeated.
"I don't exist."
Still nothing. The room was filled with silence while you hoped for the clicking in their minds. It never came. You sighed.
"I never existed! Never did anything!"
Sam looked at you like he was starting to worry, while holding a bowl with cereal. Just like Dean, who chewed his, probably thinking you've gone crazy.
"I don't understand why you're so excited saying it." Cas finally said.
"Isn't it obvious?" They once more, didn't react. "There are no records of me, at all. Nobody knows about me. I only left the bunker once."
"What's your point?" Dean asked.
"We should keep it that way."
"What? Why?" The brothers said together.
"Well, if nobody knows I'm here, we're in advantage. It's always good to have a secret backup, right?"
"Like... as a surprise element?" Castiel suggested, you nodded. "Y/N, you don't truly expect us to treat you like a secret weapon..."
"Hell no." Dean agreed.
"It's not like it."
"Well, I don't see your point." You father stated. "I know this seems messed up, but, we can fix it. Don't worry."
"I'm not worried, I'm thinking!" You made them quiet. "C'mon, think with me: I barely left the bunker, how could anyone know about me?"
"We know about you." Dean answered.
"But you've seen me. And your memories, are just yours, this doesn't mean the world knows about me."
"Ok, but you'll need to use an ID sometime. Or will you live forever here, inside the bunker?"
"Dean, you should know it's easier to make a fake ID look real if there isn't a real one to prove the fake one as fake."
Sam took a deep breath.
"Ok, so we leave it as it is. How much long do you think it would last?"
"Not much, I know. But at least, for a while it could be useful."
"I don't see how, Y/N. I'm not using you as my secret-spy-soldier or whatever."
"Sam is right. It's not worth it."
"Castiel?" You looked at him, only to find the agreeing look. You looked down.
"Look, how can you be sure nobody else remembers you?" The angel tried to clear your mind.
"For most people I know, I never happened. And the others, will probably only remember me when they see me, if they do. Until then..."
"That's not right." Sam interrupted. "I had this feeling about you, before we arrived on that day; like I left something behind, but I couldn't remember why."
"So did I."
"I got one your prayers for not getting news from us." You stood there, silent.
"That's it? A feeling you forgot something?!" You left for your bedroom, a little ofended they didn't listen to you. Your idea was good, logical. You genuinely thought they would see it as a good thing out of all this.
Reflecting on it, you finally notice: you may not know your family as well as before. At first it sounds crazy, but this is all crazy, ain't it? And after doing their exercise for a couple hours, thinking about your childhood, the events that crossed it and when it all began, you got yourself some questions.
You fell asleep while still thinking, trying to find logic somewhere and always getting to the same point, a lost point. Somehow while sleeping, you had no dreams, didn't wake up once; not even the fact that you were with a jacket bothered you.
"Hey, man. You good?" Dean noticed Sam squeeze his eyes.
"Yep. Just those flashbacks. I hate to have them by day, but I can't sleep no longer."
"Like a constant hangover, thank God it's not a heavy one." Sam did not answer. "Sam?"
"Right..." Sam stared at the floor, seeing stuff in his mind. He blinked multiple times after a little.
"You all right? You seem shocked. What did you remember?"
"It's just... Y/N's suggestion."
"Dude, that was today."
"Very funny!" Dean smiled a little to ease his brother. "It got me thinking. Why would she want that?"
"Honestly," Castiel entered suddenly. "I think she is trying to get something good out of this."
"Good? I see her point, but..."
"Not good." Cas interrupted, correcting himself. "Useful, at least."
"It's not as useful as she thinks." Dean says as if it's obvious.
"It's the only thing she has to offer." Castiel putted it in a weird way, but made sense. They silented for an instant. "Still, how does that has to do with your flashback, Sam?"
"I thought that maybe I should listen to her. Maybe there was a point."
"You, Sammy, considered the possibility of being saved by her?"
"Obviously not. I wondered: what if her non-existence helped her get away from this craziness. Like, she could get to any school if we put some effort."
"You concluded it fast." Cas commented.
"Well, yeah. Then I... questioned." Sam felt the gazes at him. "How did she get dragged into hunting in the first place? Why did I not stop it? And one more thing popped up: why did I leave college?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Dean couldn't understand his brother.
"Dean, if it wasn't for my anger towards Jessica's death, who knows..." He explained. "So why I left Stanford, making Camila stay behind and after weeks drop out too?"
Castiel took a seat.
"Why did you?"
Sam opened the door, showly. You were in your bed, far from his atmosphere, enjoying a rest you needed. He passed the door carefully, took a look at your room and turned the lights off. Ever since that hunt days ago, when he saw you sleep at the motel bed while he was reading about the case, the day he woke up before you and as you slept in the car coming back home, Sam felt peace as he watched you.
It was the moment he could breath easily and a little relaxed. You were resting, next to him, nothing could hurt you in your sleep. There, you were safe and wasn't leaving soon. So he couldn't help watch you once more; just stood by the door for a couple seconds, smiled at the taught of you having a break from this madness for some hours. Grabbed the door and heard your move, turning to check if he had woken ya.
"Sorry."
"Don't be." Your voice sounded lazy. "I have a light sleep."
"So do I." You nodded. You knew it. He regrets commenting it.
"What is it?"
"Nothing. Go back to sleep."
"No, tell me." He understood you couldn't sleep anymore.
"You don't want to talk now."
"It's about earlier, I know." You said while rubbing your eyes. "Just spit it." He gave in and sat in your chair.
"Why do you wanna do it?"
"Why don't you?"
"Why would I?"
"You've always wanted this." He gulped.
"What? No!"
"You never wanted me to be in risk, you hated the fact I made you all vulnerable, now nobody knows I'm here. I know this isn't permanent and things can change, but for now, you could finally be at peace. Nobody knows me, none of you have to worry."
Samuel digested everything you said and got his answer prepared fastly enough.
"For a long time I asked myself if Jessica never died, would I be here? And you know, as things turned out to be, as I found out more and more throughout the years I got the answer." He paused. "I would. Because if it wasn't Jess, it would be Dean or dad, or a friend."
"What do you mean?"
"I left college for revenge." You got surprised. "It wasn't Jess. Not anymore." That sounded weird. "I made a choice and I know now that somehow, at some point, no matter how many times... I would make that choice again. As soon as somebody I care about got in danger. So I left college. For you."
Sam got back from his first hunt after two years. Camila was waiting. They talked and she was serious when she told him to call Dean. Leave as soon as he could. She said she had a bad feeling, he had to find his father. Was something repentine, fast and clear - the fear in her voice stopped Sam from questioning.
"The way she talked to me... her eyes, getting sudden tears. At first I tried to calm her, jokes on me, I blamed her hormones. Camila proved me wrong. I knew she had that sometimes, like with tests or bad decisions, maybe something simple like knowing staying in was better than going to a party. She was always right. If not totally right, fast enough to avoid regret." He looked down as her voice came to his head and repeated her words. "'This is your family we're talking about, Samuel! Your child's grandfather.' She screamed. I was scared." You two laughed a little. "She begged. Aggressively. But, I didn't leave because she did."
"Why then?"
"I called Dean to get back there and pick me up because once we talked, I got that bad feeling too. And was suddenly afraid. Afraid something would happen to either of you." You stayed silent. "I hoped things would be more simple, soon I'd be back and things would go back to normal. You would be born and grow up, normal. We would be a family..."
"Please, don't say normal." He smiled.
"Your mother's bad feeling... I don't know what is was about exactly. She got scared too in that moment and it was the only time I saw her that scared. But I know that mine became true. Only, it was even worse. There was no blame. Of all things that happened in those months, how worried I was with my father, you, Camila and even Dean... The hunts, the confusion and overwhelming information all at once. The fear. Your mother's death was the most sudden and painful." You saw a tear run down his cheek, followed by a couple more. Sam had more to say but you spoke before, in the heat of the moment.
"She knew." He looked back at you, now with red eyes. "I think she knew something bad was going to happen."
"She knew we would be in danger." By we, he meant himself, his uncle and your grandpa.
"No. Not that. She knew that something terrible was happening already and would get worse. But she didn't tell you to go to stop it." His tears froze, lost in your words. "Like you said. Camila was always right about this bad feelings. She was certain." You were sure thanks to your own experience with it.
"About Dean needing me more than her?" You denied.
"About you needing the rest of your family once I was born."

Y/N walked into school, thinking about the morning. It was strange that no one was there, but she guessed they just left early for a hunt. She got to her locker and searched through her binder, looking for her homework she worked on all last night, only to realize she left it on the desk. She leaned her head against her locker, sighing. She lifted her head up and put the stuff in her locker that she didn’t need and grabbed what she did before heading to class.
“Hey Mr. Iris, I forgot my homework at home, can-” She started. She was normally early, which caused her to talk to her teacher, Mr. Iris. Mr. Iris doesn’t like vacations and rarely got sick, so you can imagine her surprise when she looked up to see her brother. “Sam?”
“Hey Y/N,” Sam said casually. Y/N looked around, double checking that she was still in school. She looked back towards Sam.
“What are you doing here?” She asked.
“We forgot to tell you, didn’t we?” He said. She became even more confused.
“What?” She asked, walking away from the doorway.
“We’re pretty sure there is something here,” He said.
“And you guys didn’t think ‘Y/N goes there, maybe we could ask her for help’, but instead thought, ‘Let’s go through all the trouble of applying to be a substitute teacher and hope some teacher doesn’t come in to school’? She asked.
“We didn’t want you distracted from school. Besides, it wasn’t that hard,” He replied. She rolled her eyes as she went to her desk.
“Yeah, because my brother being the teacher is totally not distracting,” She mumbled.
“It’ll be fine,” He said. “You won’t even notice.”
“Sure. Where is Mr. Iris? He never gets sick and doesn’t like vacations,” She asked. He paused, thinking of a decent way to say it.
“We may have given a few teachers food poisoning.” He couldn’t find one.
“You what?!” She said. Class started and it went by with Y/N hoping Sam wouldn’t notice the few notes a few kids were passing towards her desk. It soon ended and she left, going to her next class. History. She probably should’ve guessed that was what Castiel was teaching, considering he’s old as heck. However, class was a wreck. While Sam understood what needed to happen, Cas didn’t know what he was doing. Y/N had to point out that students weren’t allowed to just up and leave because when one student told him so, he was thinking about it for far too long. After class ended, Y/N created a list of things students aren’t allowed to do and could only hope it would help him with his next classes. She left and went to PE, which just had her wondering why she was even surprised anymore when Dean walked out and blew the whistle whilst yelling instructions. That class was probably the worst, considering everyone was hating the substitute and the substitute pointed out that he knew her. Once class ended, she was ready for lunch period. She walked past the cafeteria to the library. School lunch sucked, so she was going to do some work instead. The library was only two hallways away when someone came up from behind her and knocked the stuff out of her hands. She tensened slightly and she went to pick her stuff up, trying to ignore them. The person picked up one of her papers that had fallen out.
“This is that study sheet for English, right?” The person asked. Y/N ignored her picking up everything else. “Silence just makes me irritated, Y/N,” Y/N didn’t say anything once again, standing back up. She heard the ripping of paper and held in a sigh. “Y/N.”
“Yes Grace?” She mumbled.
“Who told Ms. Dana about what happened in the bathroom,” Grace asked, even though it was more of a statement.
“Look, Grace, I had a rough weekend and-” Y/N started, trying to find a compromise. The attempt gave her what would probably leave a bruise on her side.
“So did I. I had to spend three hours on a Saturday with someone trying to tell me bullying is wrong, so how about you tell me what happened, and if you answer correctly, I’ll walk away now.”
“That’s a lie,” Y/N mumbled. Her eyes widened slightly as she realized she said that out loud.
“Are you saying I’d lie?” Grace asked. Y/N thought. She could respond with what first came to her head. But here, she wasn’t what she would be in other places. She was the kid who stayed away from people and no one cared if she would get hurt. Not the kid who managed to take on several vampires while her brothers were in the other room, dealing with different vampires. She didn’t want to be that kid here, no matter how much she preferred them. That kid could draw attention, which isn’t something she preferred.
“No, I’m not,” She answered.
“Then what was it you just said in your moment of bravery?” Grace asked.
“It was nothing important.” She answered. Another punch in the side.
“That’s for making me confused about what to say,” Grace said. “Should I give you another black eye or kick you in the shin?”
“That’s enough,” Someone said. They both looked over. Sam was walking over and behind him she could see Cas holding the arm of an angry Dean, stopping him from coming over himself. Y/N suddenly found the ground to be the most interesting thing in the world. “You have detention after school with me,” He said to Grace.
“What?!” Grace said. This was basically her first time getting caught. Y/N didn’t tell Ms. Dana that Grace was the one who had punched her, so that didn’t count.
“You have detention. Now get to lunch before it becomes something bigger,” Sam threatened.
“You’re lucky,” Grace muttered walking past her. Y/N heard her footsteps walk away and debated on whether or not to look up. Maybe if she stayed looking at the ground, they’d go away. However, she did not hear anymore footsteps walking away. She slowly lifted her head, looking towards the three of them. Two words crossed her mind: Get away. She knew how to get to the bathroom from here, so she could hide in there until her next class.
“Y/N-” Sam started. She turned and quickly walked away, not wanting to talk about it.
“Hey!” Dean called, getting out of Castiel’s grip and started to walk over.
“Dean, don’t,” Sam said, turning around.
“But-” He started.
“Leave her be for a bit. She obviously didn’t want to talk about it,” Sam responded. Dean groaned, turning around and walking back to the history classroom where they had been when they overheard Grace talking. Sam and Cas followed. It was quiet for a few seconds except for Dean’s pacing.
“Why wouldn’t she fight back? She does that on every hunt?” Cas asked.
“She probably doesn’t want to hurt a person if she doesn’t have to,” Sam said after sighing.
“Why didn’t she say anything?” Cas said. Sam looked over towards Dean. Cas nodded slightly.
“That kid is lucky she’s a kid,” Dean said. He stopped pacing. “She said another black eye.” He said, thinking. “How long do you think this has been happening and we haven’t noticed?”
“She could’ve just been blaming anything she got on hunts,” Sam realized as he sat down. It was quiet for about half a minute.
“What are we gonna do for the detention?” Dean asked.
“You’re not going. You can help Cas look around the school some more,” Sam told him. Dean didn’t like it, but knew that was probably the smarter idea.
“Should we go find Y/N now?” Cas asked. Sam shook his head.
The loud clap of a book dropping on the table startled the brothers for their own research. "What the hell,Cas." The eldest said more then likely woken up for his half sleep mind set. "I found it." He said as he pointed to the thick book.
"Found the weapon that can restore balance." He explained further causing them to grow intrigued. It was the weapon they were looking for that could keep Angels in heaven, demons in hell, and other supernatural in purgatory. The one thing that can fix everything."Perfect where do we get it?" Sam asked as he pulled the book three times thicker then the largest dictionary towards him. "Where do we find her you mean." Castiel said making the Winchester's look at him confused.
Dean cleared his throat and dragged his hand down his face. "Her? The weapon is a person?!" He asked. "Not exactly. She was the first Archangel made by both God and Amare. Legend has it she's more powerful then both of them she could create life with ease and equally wipe it without so much as a single thought. Because of this she had to be put to rest." The angel explained further.
"If she's so powerful how is she "put to rest" can't she wake herself up?" Dean asked as he looked over his brother's shoulder at the book. "Apparently her prison has hex symbols that takes away and returns her grace in a constant loop to keep her weak yet alive." The younger brother explained pointing out the drawing of the three symbols on the page. "So a real life sleeping beauty? Sweet! I always fit the role of prince charming ya know?" Dean said cockily posing victoriously.
The angel rolled his eyes. "There's a catch,Dean. It says once we break those symbols all of heaven and hell will feel it. The creations that she made will hunt her down...all things supernatural will come for her,but once she's back in full power she'll be able to cloak herself." Cas said as he paced slightly. If she was a powerful as legend had it she could fix it all for them. "Her creations? She made the monsters we hunt?! I thought that was Eve." Dean exclaimed as he ran a hand through his hair. "That's a common misconception the apple she ate gave he knowledge that only three beings knew. That special apple was made from her grace." That's when the angel paused as his words raked over him. "Her garden was never just a place it was her prison."
"The garden of Eden. What's this Angel's name?" Sam asked as he flipped through the book and tried to find a name, but all he saw was angel of light and darkness, the perfect balance. "God was nice enough to name it after her. Eden the first Archangel, but she's gone by many names before." He said.
Dean looked at the book with Sam. "Where do we find the magical garden? No book supernatural or not ever gave a location." The eldest asked and it was a good question. "The garden never stays in the same place for to long it moves often. One day it could be in a forest the next in a mountain." Cas said with a sigh it was impossible to find the prison with out a bit of her grace to track the source.
"Her grace is strong even a little can help us. Even if a millennia has gone by and it's became one with the elements it can help." Cas explained. "Cain" The name fell from Dean's lips as he numbly rubbed where the mark once was. "Cain is the son of Adam and Eve. Eve had that grace in her system she must have pasted it to him!" With that the boys packed up and were heading to Cains house to use him as a tracking device. The day long drive dragged on and with those time Sam continued to ask questions.
Most of the questions the angel had no answer to until one made him freeze up. "How did it happen in the first place? Was she casted out of heaven like Lucifer?" The younger Winchester asked. "I think Chuck poisoned her. She was like Lucifer she questioned a lot of things it was a new angelic trait, curiosity, except she loved all creatures and things Chuck made so when he makes something new she was the first to see and that was the last time any angel has seen her." The vivid memory came to mind.
The giggle of the young fledglings filled the air. A girl with H/c hair dragged a younger version of himself around. "My little raven come look! Father has created such beautiful things." She said as she showed him the flowers in her hand each different from the other. "What are they called?" He asked tilting his head. "Father said I can name them, but I can't think of anything...come help me plant them on earth there we can name them!" She said using her three pairs of large F/c wings to bring them to earth before humans were even thought about.
The soil on the ground was dark and it was vastly different from the sand surrounding it. With gentle hands she planted all of the flowers and together the angels named them. "Hmmm..." The girl hummed. "What is it Y/n?" He asked her. "We need something to keep them growing in numbers, raven." She said using a stick to draw on the dirt. "What should it look like?" Y/n asked him as she was going to go to her father to create it.
"Um...give it wings and make it the color of those sunflower over there." Castiel suggested. The drowning at took a couple tries, but as the kept adding and removing things they got what they wanted. Without realizing that the archangel just made multiple winged creatures on a whim and she wasn't even trying. God saw it all a d it scared him,but he couldn't do anything about it when his sister along with his other archangels would be there to stop him. He had to wait.
Three mil past and the two children grew bigger and she grew stronger. The small patch has turned into a garden of various plants that were only found in different climates around the world. Together they went there everyday even more often after the imprisonment of Amara and Lucifer along with the disappearance of Gabriel. Michael was busy trying to keep order after the two archangels left so it was his chance. Chuck called his daughter to see another one of his inventions, but that time was so much different from the others. Afterwards she didn't comeback she was never seen in heaven again and on that day a tree taller then any other in that garden with apples of pure gold grew.
The garden of Eden disappeared after Eve ate the forbidden fruit and it wasn't ever seen again by man, angel, nor demon knew of it location. Cas lost his friend and he knew it was god that did it even if he was suppose to be a loyal soldier he couldn't when he knew that the father of creation so willingly got rid of his most prized pupil what would he do to all the underlings.
Hours have past they stand in Cains living room. "Cain we don't need much from you just some of your blood that's all." Cas said as Dean explained what for. It took some convincing, but he agreed and bleed into a vile. "You guys better stop this apocalypse before shit hits the fan." He said as he shut them back out of his house. Sam handed the vile to Cas. "Now what do we do?" He asked the angel. Without saying a word he pulled something from his pocket a old looking compass. "Rowan taught me a location spell all I need to do is..." Pouring the small amount of blood on the glass of the compass and spoke in Latin causing the red substance to disappear. "...follow the arrow." Cas finished.
The arrow spinner rapidly as it settled on the strongest pull of the grace. "Looks like we're heading west. We have a estimated week before it changes course so off we go." Cas said as they all went back to the car. Keeping his eyes trained on it a small smile formed on his lips. "I'm coming N/n." He whispered to himself. Almost five thousand miles away a the unmoving body had a shocking pull of her lip at the mention of her name if only that could have woken her up for her comatose state.
It's been three days on the road and the impala had to come to a stop a thick treeline stopped them. The dirt road turned into a hiking trail and they had no choice, but to go on foot. Together they hiked up the trail blindly following the arrow through the woods. "Cas what are we suppose to be looked for?" Sam asked as he stepped over a fallen tree branch. "The closer we get the more exotic the plants and animals will be. Also be careful some of the wild life is experimental." The angel warned causing the brothers to freeze. "What do you me by experimental? Are we going to see a truducken?!" Dean asked jokingly as he looked around.
A loud snarling noise caused him to pull out his gun and look around. "More like human eating plants and venomous insects." This made Sam tense and stick closer to a still walking Castiel and Dean to cautiously does the same looking at each and every plant close by. "What is this fucking Jumanji?!?! Everything can kill us." Dean said keeping his gun up and ready to fire. "Oh, that was the name of the movie. Yeah those types of movies were based off of what explores experienced when getting to close to the garden." The blue eyed angel said with a shrug.
In a clearing they all look with widened eyes at the land before them. Flowers of all types with various animals and inserts. They watched in wander at everything creatures they've never seen or never insisted out of the garden. Everything was in bloom even though it was mid fall. There was a clear gravel path cutting off between the forest and wonderland in front of them. They wandered around since it became more difficult to find where the pull was unclear. "She won't be in plain sight she'll be hidden well. Look for something that doesn't quite match the rest. Trees of all kinds surrounded the area, but it was Sam who noticed the sand that mirrored a sky full of stars. He slowly followed it till it grew thick into a sanded path.
The youngest Winchester had his eyes trained down so when he looked up the apple tree before his eyes took his breath away. It looked straight out of a child's most imaginative fantasy. A white trunk with red leaves and the most noticeable feature the solid gold apples on it's branches. Sam didn't hear the voices of his brother or friend as he stepped closer directly under one of the low hanging fruits. Reaching up he picked the ripe fruit his brown eyes glazed over by temptation and curiosity. "SAM DON'T EAT THAT THAT!!!" Cas yelled using his grace to stop him mid bite. The angel looked in horror at the item in his hand a dark purple almost black apple sat in his friend's hands.
To anyone mortal it looked beautiful with it golden exterior, but Cas could see the ugly, fermented, poisoned inside. Glancing up the tree was rotting with barely any leaves and the few left were the color of blood. "It's poisoned their all poisoned." His words cleared the Winchester's vision of the tree and the surrounding woods all the plants were dead all around it. "It's beautiful on the outside, but deadly on the inside. And we're seeing it for what it truly is."
"It's clear as day that's she's here. Just how do we get to her?" Dean asked looking around. Castiel snapped towards Sam holding his hand out. "Do you still have the book?!" Sam nodded quickly taking the strap off his shoulder to dig it out of the bag. He handed it over the the angels that viciously flipped through the pages. "He made her a monster so a beast she became. She was blinded by curiosity and temptation she chose wrongly that day. Pick the fruit that doesn't call to you for the right one will choose you." He read word for word trying to see through the riddle. A beast? She was never a monster, but she was depicted as one. A angel that tainted the flock.
The Archangel landed gracefully in front of her father. She bowed on one knee as a warrior would clashed in her white armor and sword by her side. "Stand my child." She stood up looking at him. "Yes,father?" Her voice was gentle, but that didn't make the God of creation hesitate in his actions. "I've made something new for you to try and plant in the garden." Chuck said handing her the item. The skin was red and the surface was smooth unlike the peach that had a light fuzz. "What is this?!" Her e/c eyes burned bright her wings fluttering in excitement. "A red apple my dear." He said softly a smile on his lips stepping closer "Taste it."
Bringing it to her mouth she took a bite out of it and started to chew. It started of sweet, but became bitter within seconds and no matter how long she chewed it never broke down in size for long. "Father...something not right." She said that single bite still in her mouth. "Trial and error, darling, try to swallow it." Her h/c hair bobbed as she nodded. With a gulp she swallowed it down, but to her shock it stopped. Using her free hand she beaten at her chest to unblock her air way. Looking up at her creator she saw a look that can only be described as pure evil as a liquid poured out of her mouth.
Touching her chin a dark violet substance came dripped to the ground. Her gaze shifted to the apple within her hand and the inside no longer looked right. It was as if it gone bad from the inside, but the outside stayed fresh hiding the disgusting center. In fear she stepped back and with that she fell and continued to fall watching her home fade away. Y/n broke through the soil of the earth in a prison of her own design that she cared for and nurtured. Her arm dropped from her side the apple rolling away. The deceitful visibly harmless fruit planted it seed and grew becoming the only way to enter her personal mausoleum.
Castiel looked at the tree. All of the fruit looked the same nothing was different about a single one of them. Together the trio walked around the looming tree. The Winchester's saw something beautiful and they couldn't help, but want to pick one of the apples to taste. "What do we do,Cas. We don't have much time before this place disappear and possibly taking is with it." Dean said flinging his hands in the air. "The riddle said to wait then that's what we must do.
They grouped together and sat at the base of the tree waiting for who knows what to happen. "This is stupid! Let's just get the shovels from baby and start di–" His words were cut short as a apple full down from above them. "Well that was covenant." Sam said as Cas picked it up. To the brothers it looked odd a bronze color compared to the rest just less appealing. While to Castiel it looked horrible making the clearly deadly fruits more appetizing. "Our key in." He said. Using his hands to break it open to reveal the mouth watering interior that a honey like liquid dripped from, they picked correctly. The ground began to shake and they all stepped away from the base of the tree as the dirt around it caved in making a spiral staircase down and down they went.
It was pitch black down there so Sam and Dean pulled out flash lights to look around. They all went around the surprisingly large pocket in the ground. Dean checked for the symbols when he tripped over roots and landed on something hard and and moving. Snapping up he shined the light on the women laying as if sleeping in front of him. She was in white leather armor with a sliver sword in her hands on her chest. "Didn't find any hex symbols, but here's sleeping beauty." He said looking her over she rested on a raised stone that worked as her bed. "Never mind found them." The markings from the book in a pyramid shape was on one side of the bedrock glowing a soft F/c. Sam walked over along with Cas. The knifes both brothers held was used to break the engraved symbols, but nothing happened.
"No no no that's not right. Y/n is suppose to be freed!" The angel in distress said as he flicked through the book nothing else was said to be imprisoning her, why didn't it work? The Winchester's examined her the youngest looking at the elegant armor while the oldest focused more of the feminine features. "Sammy you read that book while in the car. Didn't you say something about her being the first female?" He asked his eyes not leaving her. "Yeah a model for Eve and later Amara's less celestial form. Why?" Sam asked touching the blade of the sword. "Yeah if that’s try why does she have a Adam's apple?"Cas wasn't fully paying attention until that sentence. His blue eyes imminently went to her throat were a noticeable lump was. "That wasn't there before." He mumbled loud enough for them to hear. Placing his ear just a centimetre away from her lips a shallow breath was let out and a wheezed inhale drew it back in.
The angel put his overlapping hands on her chest. He didn't know everything about humanity, but he knew enough to understand what he was about to do. He pushed with all his strength and he heard a sharp breath push out it just wasn't enough to dislodge whatever was there. Cas continued his actions and just when he was giving up hope she coughed up the chunk of apple and a weird substance. F/c glowing eyes snapped open as she lurched forward her grace burning bright casting a shadow behind her. It was a sight to see three sets of wings, what can only be described as a halo, along with twisted horns. After the grace calmed down her eyes returned to their normal color and they instantly when to Cas a wide smile spreading on her face. "My raven." She said. Y/n knew why she was awoken after all this time. To fight in a war she wanted no part of,but with the thought of putting everything in balance and striking down her father where he stood made her ready to fight. After all she felt like she's had enough Beauty Sleep.
