i despise organized religion, but sometimes i’m in situations where i’m like “oh shit that part is real” so i have to question how much of religion to you need to pay attention to, and what parts are fluff. Should you do the sign of the cross? From what I’ve experienced, Hell yes. But prayers are empty without belief behind them.
i’m a bit psychic, so because of the additional sensory input, my view of reality includes spirits, ghosts, entities, pixies, who knows what - i can feel them but rarely hear speech or see anything other than flashes or motion out of the corner of my eye...just so you know where I’m at in my perspective.
On to the situation. I was sitting in a church feeling the vibe of being on holy ground and letting my mind wander around the church. As i was sitting there, my hearing in my right ear literally went silent like someone had turned the volume knob down and the sound ramps down. I opened my eyes and looked over in that direction and saw a few old folks making their way to their seat. i mentally gathered energy and pushed ‘any energy’ away from me, and my hearing immediately returned. AND i felt something moving away from me.
WTF? i deal with spirits every day, so it’s usually not a big deal for me to feel them. This thing that shut off my hearing was like a super ninja - i had no idea it was coming (my spider sense didn’t tingle) and didn’t feel anything from it other than noticing my hearing shut off in that ear. So the question that bothers me is how many people with hearing problems are actually under the influence of something like this critter? How could a ‘demon’ be on “holy ground”?? Is this an old school actual demon that can be cast out? If that’s for real, what else is real that we thought was bull?
