castlevania nocturne vampires with headcanons
tera is a vourdalak (or a combination of a vourdalak and an upyr) because i really like the mythos with vourdalak and how they target family members and loved ones specifically to turn. renard family angst WILL be happening at the function
mizrak is a mhachkay, so he can turn into an owl and why he is able to go so long without human blood despite needing it to survive
there’s not really vampires in nahuatl culture from what i’ve seen (i’m treating vampirism as a disease spread by colonization). there are the tlaciques and tlahuelpuchtli, which are more along the lines of witches associated with tezcatlipoca that drink blood rather than vampires, and a lot of their traits counter what is known about olrox besides that they (tlahuelpuchtli) can turn into mist and live with humans. but these are a lot like the mhachkay where records vary
i just gave drolta some lion ears similar to those of sekhmet and some lines running from her tear duct down her nose (emulating a large cat’s eye markings)
i really like their ears being different depending on the region they’re from. i gave olrox longer ears to emulate the plumage of quetzalcoatl; mizrak has shorter, smaller ears, much like large predator creatures that tend to fight or have to hunt so that they can’t be used as leverage against them; tera is more lupine, since the vourdalak are described as being similar to werewolves as much as vampires; drolta just has the lion ears.

Once Robespierre brings in the Reign Of Terror Maria will (as she rightly should) start questioning the revolution
(And since they brought in Robespierre, they should bring in Napoleon)
I can’t believe Tera is giving herself to the darkness and is (seemingly at least) in league with Old Man Coyote, he definitely has plans for Maria…
Also it would be cool if Season 3 would have a time skip, Richter & Maria would like they did in Symphony Of The Night,
