 “That’s a great help,” Lenore retorted, even more confused than before. “Why does everything have to be a big damn mystery with you? Or would it kill you to admit you just don’t know what’s going on—is that it?”

Spock only glared back at Lenore.

“Fine,” Lenore said. “Let’s see what Jamie [Kirk] has to say. At least maybe you can sort out whatever’s going on between the two of you.”
