heyy! can i ask who you used in your raphael edit? i’m trying and failing to find suitable fancast
Hey! Yeah of course, I’ve used both Prince Royce & Jake T. Austin
Alec Lightwood wearing that amazing t-shirt a certain character wears in Games Wizards Play
I’m guessing Magnus got it for him
heyy!! i'm using your about page shanghai and i searched through the code but couldn't find a way to change the colour of the links and message/navigate/info etc icons, could you guide me in the right way? thank you!*
hi! under a { change #8892e0 to your preferred link colour and for borders, just look for #dcecf5 and replace with any colour you want
A/N: I promised Rosey a drabble once she was done with her GSCEs (because screw standardized tests, honestly) and she asked for pre-TMI Lightwoods.
It’s...not exactly what you asked for...but hopefully you find it funny anyway.
“you know me better than anyone” or “you’re freezing. come here.” taken from this prompt list!
“You are,” Alec said slowly, eyes intent on the mendelin he was drawing on the side of Jace’s neck, “a terrible, terrible parabatai.”
“Au contraire,” Jace protested. “I verily believe myself to be delightful.”
Alec sighed, the usual, patent-pending, Brotherly Alec Lightwood Sigh, which managed to convey annoyance, affection, judgement and worry all at once. Jace hadn’t known a sigh could have so much meaning in it until he met Alec. “Terrible,” he repeated flatly. “Would a delightful parabatai insist on giving me heart attacks every other day?”
“I’m helping you train,” said Jace. “Keep you on your toes. It’s good in the demon-hunting business.”
He did feel a little guilty for scaring Alec, though. Earlier in the evening, Hodge had (dubiously, dubiously) sent him, Alec, and Isabelle out to hunt down two Shax demons just a couple streets away, and Jace had been having a very merry time until one smacked him into a brick wall.
The details were kind of fuzzy from there on, but Jace remembered Izzy’s cry of alarm. Crumpling to one knee, disoriented, the back of his head searing with pain. He’d managed to gash his head open, because when he reached back his hair was sticky with blood, nearly black in the moonlight, gleaming wetly on his fingers. Alec had leapt from his vantage point on a nearby fire escape, face stark white, but then the Shax demon advanced and Jace had surged up to kill it anyway.
Now they were sitting on Jace’s bed together, Jace leaning back against the headboard (with a pillow between his still-tender head and the wall, because ow), Alec almost perpendicular to him with his long legs over Jace’s to keep him there. Isabelle was sitting in front of Jace, facing him, and painting his nails with nude brown polish.
“Couldn’t you have done wine red or something?” asked Jace. “Wine red is classy.”
“No.” Izzy blew on the polish. “It’s your punishment for getting hurt and scaring us.”
Jace peered at Izzy’s handiwork. “I may be digging my own grave here, but I don’t see how this is a punishment.”
“Oh, it’s definitely a punishment,” Isabelle said, starting in on the nails of his left hand. “It’s not your color.”
“Everything’s my color,” Jace said, at the same time Alec said, sounding bemused, “He has a color?”
“Purple,” Izzy informed him without even looking up. “Lilac would be best, but a dark glitter purple wouldn’t look too bad, either.”
“I approve of that,” said Jace. “Purple is a sexy, sexy color.”
“Why purple?” asked Alec, sounding slightly pained, as though he already regretted it.
Jace did his best to make his dramatic sigh sound affronted. “Alec. My brother-in-arms. Half of my soul. You know me better than anyone. That you even have to ask wounds me, as obviously, it matches my sexy, sexy soul - ”
He almost spilled Isabelle’s nail polish rolling onto the floor to escape Alec beating him over the head with a pillow. Almost. He didn’t have that big of a death wish.
me, sending @catarinalosss all kinds of sad angst: sufFER!! SUFFER!!1! :DD
