Oh, look! Someone else hating on Finnick's casting, based on nothing but a couple of photographs! What a surprise! And another shining example of poor reading comprehension, to boot:
Maybe it’s just me, but I pictured Finnick older. Not Woody Harrelson (Haymitch) old, but certainly much older than the teen appearance he seems to have here. He was certainly described as a very attractive man, but he was also written as having been a few years older and age had been starting to catch up to him as well from what I remember. He was not a young man comparable to Katniss in age as he appears to be here.
Now, call me crazy, but I seem to remember Finnick being described as 24 years old as well as strong and healthy. But you're right, person on the internet, that 7-year age difference makes him practically decrepit. Not as bad as poor Haymitch maybe, 'cause 41 is just whoa, but still...
