Osbius walked ahead of us, his fur cape billowing behind him, while Desiree and I amused ourselves with back and forth banter. "Osbius, did they have swords when you were my age?" I asked. "I'm not as old as you think," Osbius narrowed his eyes. "When you were born, the Dead Sea was just sick," I laughed, relishing in the amused smiles that Desiree and I shared. "Hey," Osbius protested. "Wait, wait, wait," Desiree grinned. "I've got one! When Osbius was a boy, dragons were still in their eggshells." "Wait," I snorted, "Dragons were still microorganisms when Osbius was a boy." "When Osbius was a boy, evolution didn't exist." Desiree doubled over laughing so hard her sides began to hurt.
