I skinned my first animal today ! A big mole. Pretty sure my kitty killed it. It's fur is so soft... It's drying under a ton of salt right now. Turns out my experience of dissections is quite helpful. At least my biology bachelor is of use to me !! AT LEAST !!

Wednesday 7th June 2017: This was horrible to find when I walked into the kitchen this evening (especially as Steven was met with a similar scene when he got in from work). Twice in one day….it looks like it’s that time of year where Cobain kills everything in sight. Poor baby. Nature can be so cruel :(

a couple of rodent gifts from dexter, the vole at the top has yet to be skinned,w hile the one at the bottom has it’s pelt done and is going to be an articulation...eventually. never worked with anything this small. the bottom mouse is also the one i had to dispatch since dexter brought it in injured :[
