hey folks where do I find my followers. Where do I find them on the hellsite. Please help
wait I found it (i'm on desktop no cellphone, good ol' nokia 3310)
it's in "account", "followers" and there is currently 86 of you... Scared
hey folks where do I find my followers. Where do I find them on the hellsite. Please help
lorelei cook suffers from the device where a villain of the piece is given reasonable motives but unreasonable methods such that the reader is encouraged to side with the status-quo-clinging protagonists instead CHANGE MY MIND
Adding OP's tags for the Le Guin ref !
I guess Terra Ignota is morally questionnable all the way down... A make-your-mind-yourself kind of progressive SF. Mycroft's opinions are of course questionnable, he being what he is and what he chose to became, but he's living in a world which allowed such logic. A world where the majority of humans are in a nearly-fascist hive, if I remember the stats well (even if they're quite civil and honorful). I'm pretty sure every character's opinions are as questionable as Mycroft's one, even if the others are not homicidal, nor as openly mad as Mycroft. And, yes, even Carlyle. Of course. The righteous type.
Actually, writing this I just noticed that T.I. is one of the only pieces of media with virtually no "likable, relatable" character that I love...
i wish there was more it/its positivity that wasn't just "hell yeah look at you go funky little goblins/otherwordly beings/freaks/objects"
this is really important actually i wanted to link one of my fav tweets on this subject :>
I upgraded my compost. It's shell is now wood instead of plastics (better)
We should all have time to do this. Manufacturing and plastics infavt the whole oil industry is based on the fact things need to be quick. It's gonna be the death of us.
a very good addition to my post
My drawing of the badger's humerus I found in the forest. It's only a step, before making it into a stencil ! As you can see, the bone is very large and thick. This is because the badgers use their front legs to dig : they're one of the best burrow-diggers in Europe, and the best we have around here !
Dessin pour faire un pochoir avec l'os de blaireau que j'ai trouvé dans la forêt !
bro it sounds like maybe you need a reminder of the glorious interconnectedness of all things?
me : *being myself*
people : but you could be so beautiful if…!
me : yeah I know, so bad I’m too busy not giving a shit about standards
Carabus intricatus on my treshold this morning !
Blue ground beetle (en) / Carabe embrouillé (fr). My fav bug :')
It's one of the biggest carabs we have here (Brittany, France). It usually lives in huge forests, but Brittany is covered with "bocage" - is there a name for this in english ? Anyway, it means we have trees everywhere, along the roads, along the fields, in every bit of uncultivated land, be it too steepy, too rocky or too muddy. So the little critter feels at home everywhere ! And therefore it happily does its job of terrorizing all the other little critters around (also, it eats slugs)
Le mois de mai me rend fol d'une manière très appréciable. J'ai un peu mal au dos je vais aller me suspendre à ma barre à tractions, puis dessiner, puis lire Le Guin (je relis "four ways to forgiveness", toujours aussi incroyab')
feels like im always recovering. when do i get to live
"it's okay to rest for as long as you need from burnout" how long is it actually going to take though. there's stuff i wanna do.
I feel this hard, even though it's may and I'm currently out of it, I fear it'll be back in winter. Maybe, maybe not ? I'm not exhausting myself pointlessly this year, so... maybe not. Also, the mushrooms DO help.
Ok another completely unrelated blog question, could you guys please recommend a song you love? Talk about why you like the song too, if you’d like
Edit: Genre doesn’t matter btw can be any
Ahhh here you go ! it's a french trad-folk song from Malicorne, a trad-folk-digging band from the 70', one of the most famous in the country. This particular song I love because of it's history (and also, goats). It's a translation from Occitan (french southern language of old) to current french. The song is from the time of the Cathars (a church-deviant "sect" of free-minded christians from the IX, Xe and XIe century, that everybory hated because they were too free-minded). It is said the song was sung adding chanted vowels between lyrics, a secret language only the cathars did understand, to pass messages without the other christians knowing.
The story is of a herder, coming home to his wife being sick (or maybe molested by some people, but definitely unwell). He panics, tells her he'll make a soup to help her get better, but she answers him that she is gonna die. She then tells him to bury her deep into the pond, so that the passing pilgrims may drink the water of life. The tradition says Jeanne, the wife, is a metaphor of the Cathar's faith/church...
It ends to her, saying people will remember her as going to the heaven alone, along with her goats.
Ayyy, we DID the rural gay pride, five to eight hundred people in a town of 3000 inhabitants ! It was good %) lot of different people, a drag-show, loud music, hot and sunny weather, traditionnal chant and dance (that's me). THREE tractors...
Today I gave the vegetable garden a boost (the zucchinis are in the earth, and some beetroots, and mesclun and salads). The beans are sprooting. Next : A Second Parsnip Mound (and herb-removal).
Also everybody seems alright those days - including my GF !! She's been good for one month or so ! Wow !! Queen <3

Surely these circumstances will improve with additional shame
