Trying to turn thoughts into actions. The mental side of #parkour has always been the most challenging for me. I tend to overthink my jumps, which translates negatively into my life, leaving me more anxious than I want to be. It had been two weeks since I did some legitimate parkour training, and I realize it's pretty important for my general sanity. Imagined this jump last night, happy to make it a reality today. After what felt like an eternity I finally broke this catpass pre. Haven't fought like this for a challenge in a while but it felt really good to finally get it. Had to change my run up technique and just a lot of trying to get the power necessary for me to get this. I need to remember to fight more for the things I want.
