For years I watched you as you grew. Such a little thing you were back then. So full of life. Boundless energy that seemed to never end. You were beautiful. Slender and fit. Perfect in your ways. Your eyes always seemed so full of wonder and questions. Those questions are what kept you going every day. What's this? Why is that moving like that? Where does this go eveey time the sun sets? How do I get this out of there? You were always so eager to run and explore. You always seemed to be on the hunt. Always searching until you found what you were after. Nothing escaped your gaze in those endless woods. A perfect little Hunter. Strong and agile you never once gave up in your life for anything. No journey went unfinished. No stone unturned. No corner left unsearched. Every hunt was an adventure, every day a whole new journey. You grew so big. Brave Little Hunter, not so little any longer. Youthful energy never left you did it? No challenge too hard, no distance to far for you. You fought for what you loved, you fought for what was yours. Even till your last day. You were so young. So long left to live. So many more journeys left to take. So many more treasures to find, animals to hunt, sunsets to watch and bask in. So many more things left to do before it was taken from you. You were my brave little hunter. You were my ever faithful companion. You were my friend. I will never let your memory fade. You will always be remembered. Rest well. Sleep well.
