Cave trolls headbut for a number of reasons
-gently to show affection like when you peck your family on the head as a greeting
-a bit rougher to show friendship/kinship like how people bump chests in sports
-or to ignite competition or fight
Molenoids are touchy in the way Europeans are on tv and in shows, to show how they’re passionate about their likes and dislikes
-Tight hugs
-Reaching for each other for comfort and finding comfort in even a hand on the others shoulders.
-Many have to suppress this instinct in a professional setting for the sake of different sensitivities like when working for doctor Blakk or to avoid being called embarrassing like when acting as an announcer in sports but for those in more forgiving jobs like an adventurer or theatre players, they have the flexibility and forgiving atmosphere to show their hearts.
The more humanoid cave dwellers like Trixie are more reserved not feeling any need to go out of their way for contact besides out of severe fear like hiding from fights.
Certain social classes or groups also have similar social behaviors like how comfortable pirates can be together despite differing instincts as a result of close quarters and often facing deadly circumstances together as a team.
