Louis and his entire family including Jay's parents who tell Freddie he is their great grandson using, renting and exploiting a child instead of Louis filing for a lawsuit by getting actuall lawyers (like George Michael, Kesha, MJ, Rebecca Fergusson, Adam Lambert, Britney Spears, BSB, countless others did when they filed lawsuits agains record labels and certain people who worked at the record labels) is so telling. I mean why wouldn't he rent a kid instead of losing some cash on lawyers right?
The way you simplify such a complex case and dehumanize the people involved in it, is indeed “so telling”.
I don't know how old you are or how much you've invested in learning about the music and entertainment industry and its dubious values and ways of operating. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that your cold comments come from ignorance, frustration and concern of witnessing a situation like the one Louis, the kid and anyone with a heart around them is suffering experiencing.
First of all, children are not on the supermarkets’ shelves available for rent. Louis is a family man, with very young siblings whom he cares for and protects as we have seen countless times. He is successful and rich RICH because of his current talent and past career successes; in what head enters the idea that a 23-year-old, with all that in his pocket will be willing to "buy" a baby accompanied by a story that would destroy his reputation for life?
Since you have the cold blood to write those words dedicated to Louis, it will not be difficult for you to imagine that there are people capable of planning such a situation. People who do not show their faces, who perhaps we will never know of, and who for fear of risking a few zeros in their bank account are capable of imprisoning their own mother.
We know little about how such a situation can be executed & maintained in time, but I guarantee you that it is not limited to "a few dollars in lawyers" do you really think is the lack of money or interest the key to the BBG resolution?!?!. This is an imposed situation and although we know of many other injustices in the industry we cannot compare or judge them by the few headlines we read in the press.
So anti anon, to your "is so telling" I reply that I wish I could see it as easy as you do, that the years of isolation and theft from Britney's accounts, Kesha's sexualization in exchange for carving out a profession, the extortion of the BSB, the beto of Adam Lambert and the exemplary scandal in which George Michael (also)was involved would have taught me a pattern, but the only thing that teaches me is that there is a clear priority in this industry that never points to the PERSON but to the levels of the arks, yes like pirate stories, treasure arks.
