Welcome to The Crown and the Flame Book One Book Club!
This Book Club is open to ANYONE and EVERYONE. You can participate as much or as little as you want. We will play a new chapter every Saturday, beginning April 12. However, late entries are more than welcome if you are unable to play on time.

What book should we read next?
TCATF will be finished either next week (if we read 3 chapters or the week after if we read 2 chapters and then 1 more... I'm leaning toward the first option as participation for this book club has been so low).

I'm not sure how I'll make a decision. I typically do polls but TCATF won the last poll with a significant amount of people voting for it, but I don't feel even half of those people followed through with participating... If anyone has a better way of choosing the next book, please let me know. I thought about doing a poll put also asking people to comment with their choice so that if a book didn't win but more people publicly said they'd like to play, those public votes could tip a second place book into winning.... but I also respect people who like to play anonymously. Thoughts?

TCATF won the book club poll over The Heist: Monoco by one vote! I think this was the closest poll we've had in a while, so if people are still interested in THM in the summer, it could be a future book for sure!
I have not chose a start date yet, but I'll try to make a choice in the next day or two. It will either start this Saturday, April 12 or next April 19. My guess is it will be the 19th, but if I can get things together, we can start April 12.
The people who were more vocal about which book they wanted, all chose THM so I'm not sure who will be joining but I'm excited to find out.
Since I don't know who is playing, if you are one of the people who voted for tcatf can you let me know what you'd like to see in this book club? what are you hoping I keep from past clubs or do differently? TCATF is different than other books we've done so far since we don't have a customizable MC so MC related questions are out for this book, so what would you like instead? You're welcome to message me, reply to this, or leave a message in the inbox (anon is fine), I just would like to hear from some of the TCATF readers so I know how to plan for you!
