MC having to spend the night in Obscuary because there's a rainstorm outside.

She's laying in bed, scrolling wickhive when suddenly theres a loud thunderclap. She hadn't noticed how close the storm was getting until someone throws open the door.

It's Lyca. With his blanket bundled up in his arms.

And before she can say anything he's at the bedside and says, "Move over!"

She does, and as Lyca is trying to adjust his blanket theres another thunderclap. He flinches.

"Lyca? Are you scared of thunder?"

"I am not!" He says turning toward her, "It just hurts my ears! And it's quieter in here."

She decides to leave it at that but can't help but notice that he keeps scooting closer to her after each thunderclap afterward.

I fear she has the worst smokers cough ever, it gets especially bad when she's sick </3

Loves to wear big coats, like vir trenchcoat

Has like a couple Hawaiian shirts but they almost never wear them

You'll never catch them wearing a skirt or any type of dress, that's just not their style at all I fear

Has a huge sweet tooth but she'll never admit it

Kind of an asshole but ve generally means well, ve comes off as brash or rude but really ve's just blunt and doesn't like to sugarcoat things

Not great at asking for support or reassurance

OCD all the way, it really fucks with her and her investigations sometimes </3

Actually pretty great at bartending, in another universe they could've been a bartender instead of a detective

Used to draw and do art but has lost motivation

You will have to physically pull vir away from vir work when ve gets invested in a case

Sometimes listens to true crime podcasts, either because she's curious or because she's making fun of them

Tries to be a fan of horror, but she doesn't have much belief in the supernatural and isn't scared by the horrors of humans

Isn't that expressive, so if you get a good laugh out of her, you're lucky

Very touch starved but will never admit it

And someone in tje comments goes "You picked two of the most toxic ghouls in the whole game to set her up with"

I wasn't originally back on Tumblr when i first started playing Tokyo Debunker and i just realized i never got to share what i thought was going to happen sooooooo

Because there were originally 20 ghouls (with Ed being only shown in the when you open the game) i legit thought they were going to lean in more to the fallen angel aspect of demon mythology

I'm not too sure of the specifics but the basics are that when Lucifer fell, he had 20 loyal follwers that rebeled and fell with him. Unlike Lucifer they ended up on earth instead of hell (please correct me if I'm wrong about any of this) and began hookup with human women and having kids, the nephilim, and eventually that led to the whole flood and Noah's arc thing.

Pretty much, what i thought was going to happen was that ghouls become ghouls because they are descendents of the nephilim and that's why they don't die after making a pact

I doubt thats something they'll ever get into but it's fun to speculate lol
