first ever ship: not 100% sure, but looking back to when i was aware what shipping was, it might’ve been audrey and emma from the scream tv series. either that or chloe and max from life is strange.

last song: currently listening through renaissance by beyonce from top to bottom, and as im writing this im on america has a problem (which might be my fave track from it rn)

currently reading: nothing atm but i will be reading a bunch of research articles bc i have an essay due on wednesday that ive barely worked on oops

currently watching: catching up with dr belgique and sverige. my friends are trying to get me to binge watch barry so we can watch the final season as it airs before one of them heads back home so ig thats what ill be doing while i finish my essay skajsnhdxkjs

currently consuming: nothing cuz i should be asleep, but i did have some all dressed ruffle chips a while ago

WARNINGS: Talk of police brutality, death, murder, and some very controversial opinions about Criminal Minds. You've been warned.

I wouldn't kill Haley Hotchner first up, her death was unnecessary and if the writers just wanted Hotch to finally be a good father, there were about a dozen other ways they could have made that happen without killing her.

Spencer and JJ would never have had a crush on each other. That plotline was so forced it just felt gross and weird. Never mind that suddenly JJ is telling Spencer she loves him after she's had 2 kids and married another man she loves. It's really the writers grasping at straws.

I wouldn't have sent Spencer to prison, because not only did his whole character change to someone that's nearly unrecognisable, that plotline again just felt very forced and ver desperate.

I would have changed how Aaron and Jack Hotchner left the show. I understand that due to the firing of Thomas Gibson, Hotch couldn't be a part of the show anymore, but there's absolutely no way he would never have been mentioned again in the show after his departure in season 12. His team was his family, Jack had grown up around the team, had Henry and Michael as friends and cousins, and suddenly Hotch and Jack don't exist? I get they went into witness protection, but I wished there was some mention of them in some way.

Lastly, and this might be a bit controversial, but Elle should have faced some consequences for her actions in killing the suspect. She shouldn't have been cleared as innocent, and Hotch and Gideon shouldn't have let her go when they know that she hadn't told the complete truth about her actions. I understand this was the show trying to be sympathetic to survivor trauma, but it did not need to play out in this weird and gross example of police brutality. She should have been punished, and she shouldn't have been able to walk away and never be heard of again.
