hey shout out to me for being fucking stupid, i forgot to replace some stinky lands in my Etali deck and now I'm looking at the list like "why the hell am I playing reliquary tower?" and it's just that I forgot to get bloodstained mire and needed a card in that slot to play a casual game demo field and volatile fault gotta go too but at least they pop gaea's cradle

so I don't talk a lot about cEDH but I think the current meta is fucking crazy.

on one hand you have the slop decks, these no bad card strategies that almost always have either Thrasios or Tymna at the spearhead, we are getting a little more diverse with RogIshai but they all have this mentality of low synergy and just objectively good cards that kind of feel almost generic, they are super fucking popular TnT, Bluefarm, RogThras and Kinnan are mainstay staples in the Tier 1. imo

then on the other hand you have the turbo meta that just abuses the shit out of the slop decks weaknesses Etali, RogSi and turbo Magda are just out here fighting the good fight being led by Sisay which isn't really a turbo deck but since like no one plays clam chowder Sisay in my area and they are all weird versions of the deck they feel unique and it's hard to really tell what's gonna happen, and even the Etali build I'm on I've gotten some weird looks like "why are you running sneak attack?" and it just cause we are on this weird kick of trying to be fast and unrecognizable so the slop decks don't know what to counter like I talked a TnT player into removing my proteanhulk which put me right in the spot to win cause like phulk is only in weird fringe decks.

I'm excited to see how many more fringe decks rise up to meet the slop decks on their pedestal, Ulalek has won a tourney, zhulodok put up numbers, top 16's are hopefully gonna get more diverse as the meta evolves

why is one of the possible winlines shuffling my graveyard into my deck and drawing my entire deck 120 times

made a bunch of changes to cedh chatterfang earlier and it's going quite well I won again :3

I do think I need to think a way to add back in some of the ramp I removed tho
