Getting into He-Man has genuinely been a fun experience because all I've been watching is the 80s cartoon so far and it's insanely good for a toy cartoon made for boys. Like I was not expecting that. I was expecting camp and maybe a hit once in a while, but Teela's Quest in particular (I've been watching in order) opened my eyes a bit. Like the female characters are written quite well, most of the men can be soft without it being a weakness. Like yeah Adam gets made fun of sometimes but also it's kinda what he wants to keep himself and his He-Man persona separate.

Like no wonder it's stuck the landing in terms of relevancy for so long. It's not shlock.
