Character Inspiration - Ellison Lindstrøm

Noticed that I didn't drop Ellison yet! Usually I wait until they're official, but I think it's pretty obvious that Ellison and Eiko will be a thing. So it's homeboy Ellisons turn :)

Remus Lupin (Harry Potter) Ellison is still loving, still present enough, but there's a whole storm under the surface. Like Remus, he’s trying to stay useful so he doesn’t collapse, even if it frays him. There’s a shared weariness in both men—of life, of failure, of being needed when they feel empty. Still, they keep giving because, in the end, this is who they are. Milo Thatch (Atlantis) Excuse me, have you seen the guy? Listened to him for just a second? He's picture book scrattered professor! Ellison’s botany obsession, his awkwardness, his joy in info-dumping about plants or books or odd facts—all Milo. That tender, slightly disheveled professor energy who forgets birthdays but remembers Latin names for moss? Yeah that's all him. Cliff Holden (Our Life) Okay so, right now there isn't much of Cliff in Ellison simply because of how difficult things are and how broken he feels. But Cliff is who he COULD be. Eventually. After he's healed. Cliff is the "dad archetype" of emotional presence and moral support, even if it's goofy, rejected or imperfect. And once Ellison reconnects with his kids and finds peace without pretending? Yeah, that'll be exactly him. Cedric Brown (Nanny McPhee) Does this even need to be explained, guys? 😅 Just look at them. Cedric and Ellison are both widowed young, left with children they adore but can’t always handle in their grief. Cedric eventually finds joy and reconnection through love—and that’s very much Ellison’s life. Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds) I mean. Like. Right? You feel it too, right? The shared awkwardness and intelligence. The struggle with overstimulation and burnout. The tendency to flirt with substances - but where Spencer eventually caved, Ellison resists. Also - the hair. Just...yeah. The hair. Gale Dekarios (Baldur’s Gate 3) Okay this COULD be stretching it a bit, but hear me out: Both Gale and Ellison are bright lights dimmed by pain, pretending they're fine, carrying unbearable loneliness in silence. They're charming and eloquent on the outside, but on the inside they're a mess. They're haunted and they talk loads. Loud enough that no one will hear the pain they carry. Peak 'soft boy ten steps away from spiralling'. Also - The beard.

Domestic Cedric Brown Would Include

Expect chaos most days of the week. You both often start your mornings earlier than you would like to for the sake of the children.

You split the workload pretty evenly, but sometimes Cedric steps up and does more than he should to give you a bit of rest. You, of course, repay the favor when you’re able.

You sometimes get a moment of quiet at breakfast before all the children are dressed and come downstairs. You’ll either spend that in soft spoken words of love or trying to keep Cedric awake over the morning paper.

Evenings are slightly less chaotic with the kids having worn off most of the day’s energy by dinner. A nice family meal filled with laughs usually begins the winding down of your day together.

A short bout of domestic bliss finally arrives after the children are to bed and you have a few precious, quiet moments to be together as a couple, where you can talk or kiss, or just fall asleep snuggled up close to one another.

An homage to two great actors who appear to have an even greater friendship. A special thing in the entertainment industry, having something so long lasting and sincere.   

Colin and Kelly first starred together in the 1999 film “My life so far”. Then came “Nanny McPhee” in 2005 and finally “Operation Mincemeat” which was filmed in 2019/2020 and released earlier this year.

Nanny McPhee/Harry Potter Theories

• Ok my first theory is that Nanny McPhee is actually a half breed! Her father being a wizard and her mother being a hag! (and yes, hags exist in the wizarding world) Hag’s are ugly wart covered beings that resemble “traditional” witches, they have four toes on each foot and a taste for children....Hags are known for rudimentary magic’s so maybe Nanny McPhee was feeding off the Brown Children’s magic instead of their flesh and then using their magic to beautify herself?!

• My second theory is so obvious, I don’t know why no one has talked about it before! Lavender Brown is in someway related to the Brown Family in Nanny McPhee, whether she’s their oldest sibling or the daughter Cedric and Evangeline have after they marry or she’s a cousin.....somehow she’s related to them
