I bought a bunch of beautiful little notebooks at muji in beijing, so I made one into my new bullet journal. I’m really trying to be more organised because exams are only four weeks away!

i watched your skincare routine video, and i was wondering if you found the etude house sunprise sunscreen to be drying or too matte? have you tried any other korean sunscreens, and if so how do you like them?

btw i have dry skin that’s a tad bit sensitive!

i haven’t found the etude house sunscreen to be drying for me, but i do use moisturizer and a moisturizing toner beforehand bc i have dry skin. that might affect the drying effect?? anyways, i’ve tried both the physical and the chemical versions of the sunprise + i think the physical one is a tad bit more matte if u prefer that? but both aren’t like,,, supremely matte if that makes sense. between the two, i prefer the chemical version purely because it’s easier to squeeze out of the tube when there’s not a lot left HAHA

i’ve used the sunprise all up now, so i’m trying the purito unscented centella sunscreen. it’s def glowier than the sunprise + i haven’t experienced any negative side effects so far. it works well with makeup + it feels fairly lightweight. my mum and dad have been rly liking it as well.

i’ve also tried the cosrx aloe sunscreen which i disliked. i found it to be a little too thick for me, and i think it might’ve caused some bumps on my face? the same happened for my friend w oily skin. 

the same friend w/ oily skin rly loves the krave beauty beet shield sunscreen + finds it to be lightweight and works well underneath her makeup and doesn’t break her out like the cosrx one did. i’ve never tried it myself so i can’t say much abt my experience w it.

i wanna try the biore and nivea and canmake sunscreens next after i use up my purito one. hope this helps!

i guess it’s time for a proper stubyblr introduction! hello everyone! i’m wendy. i’m 25 and an english major. i’m currently attending comm college and hoping to transfer to a UC soon, but i’m still pretty undecided on which one. some quick things about me: • as an english major, i want to teach english! high school would be my preferred grade range, since my love for english started there. • i work part time at a winery as a somm, otherwise known as a wine taster! i help decide what wines stay on store shelves and aid in label descriptions. • my likes/interests include books, kombucha, feminism and stationery.  • i am true hufflepuff and cancer. i’m a complete softy!!  i’m hoping this blog will help me stay motivated in my studies as well as my new bujo, and maybe make some new friends on the way. as you can probably tell, i’m older than a majority of the community. i am very embarrassed to see all you bright young 15 -18  year olds knowing that i did the mistake of working at your age (´；ω；｀) however, i’m working toward making up for lost time! let’s work hard this fall! my favorite studyblrs are @ceesdesk, @peachiteach, @the-distracted-student, @actuarystudies, @minijournals, and @academiceve!

bird of paradise and snowdrop!!

bird of paradise; what was the best thing that happened to you this month?It’s only been 3 days worth of August, so not much has happened. Well, I had brunch with a new friend today. That was pretty great :)

snowdrop; what does your ideal day look like?I wake up early, have coffee and a light breakfast. Then I read until lunch. I write all afternoon. I go out to dinner with friends and come home and watch a movie.
