I UNDERSTAND that the point of the Crazy Ex Girlfriend ending is that she doesn’t need to define herself via romance anymore bc she has fulfillment which idk how much I like that but that’s not the point.
The point is if she WERE to chose a guy Nathaniel was the best choice here’s why.
The three men represent past present and future hear me out.
Josh obviously is the past. A lot of their relationship is built on nostalgia and reliving moments etc but in the long run they work better as a memory since they put more stock in that versus living in the moment.
Speaking of the moment that’s Greg. They have chemistry that’s the whole idea and they love being together naturally but their pasts and futures will always kinda hold them back with each other.
Then we have Nathaniel aka the future. He’s a great example of character and personal growth, and he does it not just bc of her but by actually making choices in his life about himself and looking at what he really wants. They have the potential to be great moving forward and the capacity to support each their because at the end of the day independently they’re both willing to grow.
