There were definitely many times that they’ve said to have hooked up but the main time where everyone was so sure was during the 2012-2013 season. Just watch their Carmen performance (specifically 2013 worlds and you’d see). But even tho they were hooking up he was still treating her like shit. Heard get frustrated with her and stuff like that. Btw there’s a video of them holding hands off ice in Japan, June 2018 when they were on tour

Oh I read those specualtive posts, but haven’t actually seen anyone “in the circle” confirm it, so I’m sceptical on that basis. Most of it seems to stem from the “they are so electric onnd off ice they have to be sleeping with each other” POV. To be fair, that’s what I thought at first too. I did see a holding hands video but it was so dark I could hardly tell who was who. But who knows, in the end. They may have given it a go and had it not work out. But my money is on Scott seeing Jackie off and on while her divorce was coming through and then rekindling it once she was single again, and putting a ring on it asap bc he wants to move on to the next “mission” which is having a bunch of kids. Tessa has her next mission - he seems a bit lost. I don’t like how he handled the engagement annoucement. He can’t his partner of 20+ years that he’s engaged, personally? It’s not like they’re out of touch. They were still working together. At no point during their tour did it occur to him to tell her he’s getting engaged?

I saw yesterday! It is a shitfest right now. I’m glad I distanced myself from the VirtueMoir insanity when they said on Ellen they weren’t together. From what I saw on one twitter account (”it’s britney bitch” I think is the name of the account), Scott was seeing Jackie while she was gong through her divorce (or maybe before? IDK?) and have been somehwhat publicly hanging out since her divorce came through last year. I’m guessing Tessa found out about the engagement not from him (shady), because she said she was calling him to congratulate him. She also said she had thought of their various milestones in their career and what’s to come, and she hadn’t thought this was going to be one of them (shade?) but that it’s neat they get to celebrate this next chapter. I think this might be why they annouced their retirement in September. I know they’re retired from competitive sports, but this sounds like they’re retiring from ice-dancing with each other. People have also said that Scott has been rude with Tessa all of last year, but I haven’t been following them since after the Ellen appearance, so I don’t know if that’s true or salty shippers. Let me know if you know.People are hating on Jackie because Scott is calling her his first dancing partner, and there is a photo of Jackie in a MAGA hat. I believe Scott has been getting hate on his page and has been blocking people. Some others seem to be cool and are saying Jackie is willing to give Scott the stability he wants, while Tessa wants to merch and make money. (I’m not sure if that makes sense though, because surely you can do both together.)Mostly people are very angry and upset.This is why I got out before my feelings were hurt lol. I knew they weren’t gonna happen and he would marry someone pretty soon. (NGL I pulled cards.) Let me know if you have and want to share more goss. ;)

I’ve got the ice tea! I’ve been a fan since like 2006. Basically what’s true is that over their 20 year partnership they’ve truly had an up and down and toxic relationship. Scott used to use her adolescent crush on him to his advantage but would always break her heart all the damn time. He used to be suuuuuper cocky as a teen and still in same ways is. One of the most noticeable things was in 2009 (I believe. I forget dates) (1/?)

In 2009, Tessa did her first leg surgery to keep skating with Scott and during this time a bunch of people tried to get him to partner with other girls but he refused. Which sounds great but at the same time he literally did not talk to Tessa for MONTHS before, after, and during her surgery. He didn’t visit her or anything. That was one of the biggest things that caused strain in their relationship. Moving on, they had to attend marriage counseling which- (2/?)

some people love to romanticize them going to marriage counseling to fix their partnership but it’s actually not cute and shows how messed up they were. Whatever after that he was super attentive to her and they fixed their relationship and one their first Olympics. Now during this time Scott had a few serious girlfriends but he always cheated on them with Tessa but at the same time treated T like shut. Then they lost and got silver in 2014- (3/?)

They practically semi-retired after the 2014 Olympics and still skated together for shows but barely saw each other. That’s when their true co dependent relationship was exposed cause they both admitted to going back to compete for each other and to be close again. Leading up to the 2018 Olympics their relationship was literally the best it’s ever been and they were both in a much happier and healthier environment. They of course won in 2018 and became legends (well solidified that status) (4/?)

After the Olympics their relationship was still amazing and they did get into an actual relationship for the first time together. Now this is where it gets juicy. Basically after the 2014 Olympics, Scott was the one who had the period of post Olympic depression that lots of athletes have. Tessa didn’t but this time, in 2018, she did. Scott apparently wanted to move fast and was already talking marriage and kids but she point blank told him she didn’t totally trust him- (5/?)

Which if we’re being honest she had every right to not trust him. They split up and he spiraled and slept with his “first” skating partner that was in town for her grandmothers funeral. Obviously when Tessa found out she was upset but he proved her point 🤷‍♀️. Fast forward to 2019. Their relationship is a messed. He got engaged to a girl he’s been with for less than a year. They weren’t going to all together retire but- (ah I lost count but I’m not done yet 😂)He didn’t tell Tessa about his engagement. She had to find out from someone else maybe it was even the internet. They weren’t planning on retiring all together and even a few months ago talked about more tours but tessas clearly done with his bs. And people are mad about the “first skating partner thing” cause he’s alway said Tessa was truly his first real one but all of a sudden she isn’t. Any way I think you’re all caught up lmao

Even though I followed them only after Pyongyang, I feel deeeeep into the rabbit hole and was caught up with everything you recapped about their earlier years, the 2014, the leg surgery, 1st retirement, the return, the win, and post-win inerviews and speculation. I agree Scott has been up and down in his “devotion” to her. I don’t think I ever saw any proof though that they’ve been dating in 2018. Evidence of them hooking up earlier is also slim to none as far as I know. But we do have this from Adam Rippon: When he was asked if T&S are dating now, he said “no” like he was really sure. But when he was asked if they’ve ever dated, he said, “You can’t dance like that unless there is some history there.” Which makes me think they did hook up earlier, it probably got messy, the called it quits. Then this time decided to keep it professional so they could win, and I feel like even after, they didn’t jump into bed together, because Scott spent some time doing googly eyes at her like a lovesick puppy. (”her eyes are green - gorgeous green!”) He wouldn’t be doing that if they were boinking, IMO. However, I stopped following them after their Ellen interview last year, so if there’s some tea from after that, in 2018, or evidence that they were shacking up, I’d looove to know. And also, if they did hook up earlier in their life, I’m dying to know when it was. I bet it was after Tessa stopped dating that old guy - I forgot his name. What do you think?Thanks for writing in!
