I'm working on a piece of "original" fiction based on "original" characters who are very loosely based on the Beatles and their girlfriends in the early/mid 60s. But this takes place today, they're all in their late 20s or early 30s, they're all bisexual and polyamorous (default orientations for pretty much all my fics, so I can write smut of every character with every other character).

The main four started out as a Beatles cover band in their teens: Paul Aaron (formerly Aaron Pall, he had his name changed as soon as he turned 18), Jack Berry, a character whose name I haven't fully decided on, and Dick Wood. Their girlfriends are Joan Curry, Celia Love (this was my pen name back when I didn't want people to know that "Rachael" wrote smutty fanfiction), a character whose name I haven't fully decided on, and Maude Little.

Now they've hit the big time and write their own songs. They're not quite as big as the Beatles, but they're up there. Jack is in love with Paul. Paul claims the most attractive Beatle was John Lennon, but Paul McCartney is one of his heroes and he seems to be a little bit in love with him, too.

I've been writing a story where Paul, Jack, Celia, and Joan are, surprise, talking about the Beatles. Here are some out-of-context sentences:
