With his new found connection to the world around him, our Green Man realizes he still has more to learn. He has completed all the physical and intellectual education thus far and is ready to move forward towards enlightenment. His soul is in need of development and he now learns what it means to sacrifice. He has to let go of everything he once knew and relinquish control of his life for the moment. It is time for him to follow his intuition, take a leap of faith, and begin to develop his soul.
Unknown Deities: Arawn
So obviously this isn't a complete discription of Arawn, because that would be impossible. This series (I do plan on making it a series) is simply to expose people to deities they haven't heard of yet, not to tell people everything they need to know about a deity. If you are interested in worshiping Arawn, research him beyond this post.
Arawn is a Welsh deity not many people seem to know about. He is the god of Annwn, the Otherworld. He is quoted to preside over terror and hunting, and is associated with dogs. Some sources cite him as the same deity as Gwyn ap Nudd. He is said to be the ruler of the Tylwyth Teg, Welsh faeries.Legend says that he rides along the skies on a white horse, with the Cwn Annwn (Hounds of the Otherworld) running with him.
Followers of Arawn often worship him on Samhain and Beltaine, since the holidays are associated with death and faeries, respectively. An altar to Arawn might include dog and horse figurines, symbols of faeries (such as thyme and shiny objects), symbols of the dead (such as pendulums or photos of dead loved ones), a throne statuette, or symbols of hunting (such as a bow and arrow or a knife).
Celtic Music - The Elder Path
The most important Celtic song I probably ever made. This song is so large that it actually consists of 3 parts which could all be their own separate songs. If you remember there is a story arc going through songs like For the King and Prophecy, and a second one beginning with Ancient Storm. The Elder Path is the origin of all of those, it's as far back as is possible, to the roots of the Celtic world. I think I never worked on a song this hard, and it means a lot to me personally. I hope you will find enjoyment in it too, I was thinking about writing down what the song is about but the more I thought about it the more I realized I want to keep the meaning vague, it should give everyone a unique imagination. - Adrian Von Ziegler
