What does 10,000 years of an on-again/off-again relationship look like?

It looks like two duty-bound, emotionally-reserved, determined warriors who sacrificed much and took very different roads to arrive at the same place: becoming stalwart protectors of their people. Demon Hunter and Warden.

It looks like Cendrine and Maiev, glaive to glaive, lips curled in a snarl before crashing together in a heated kiss as Azeroth burns around them.

Over time, they begrudgingly appreciate the work the other does for their people in their own ways, but are unable to say the words out loud. Soft words aren’t in them, kind words can’t push past their teeth. They spar and compliment each other’s form instead. They hunt and remark on the piles of bodies left behind. They fuck and stay close for moments past what is necessary.

Cendrine and Maiev always find each other in times of war, but they drift apart when the world lays down its arms and takes up their lives again. Lost in themselves and their purpose, unable to use the soft, kind words that peacetime requires, they disappear from each other.

This time, the two night elf women rekindle what was and what always will be as the ashes of Teldrassil rain down around them. Not knowing how to talk about their anguish, fear, sadness, and dread, they talk about duty.

“Are you ready for the hunt?” one asks, watching the red banners snapping in the wind on the quickly approaching war ships.

The other snarls, spinning her glaive and catching it in a rough, practiced hand, “Always.”

I did it. All new genes and a new accent for Cendrine. I think she looks better for it too. (Legion is next, but is only getting capsule)

I had a plan for last year's november to complete an idea I've had since 2023's huevember, to make drawings in the same style as the ones I did, but for the BRY characters whose colors didn't fit on the wheel, those being Bruno (brown), Bert (silver), Aurel (gold), Cendrine (grey), Maurice (black) and Albino (white).

That didn't end up happening, though. I have the thumbnails and flowers decided for months now, and it had been a while so I drew all of them to get the hang back, it's been a while since I drew most of them. (this was from before I hurt my wrist)

I am planning on getting this project going once I'm fully recovered
