They had a cool boss fight cut!!!?? I guess Arthur already had his fair share of heroic fight scene in this ep but I'd love to see Arthur and Cenred fight properly. Just this few seconds look super exciting. Who knows Cenred can fight, right?

Imagine if Balinor was Cenred's older brother. He left Essetyr and abdicated the throne to pursue a Dragonlord's path; it was considered a noble lot and so no one in his Kingdom objected. Little Cenred became a crown prince. Eventually, Balinor found himself in Camelot at Uther's side. Kind Ygraine, enchanting Nimueh, brilliant young scholar Gaius, Gorlois and Vivienne, dragons and magic, everything was so promising.

But then the Purge began. Balinor was banished and chased like a beast by his former friend. Essetyr broke off diplomatic relations with Camelot, but Balinor didn't want a real war between the kingdoms to start because of him.

Still, it was Prince Cenred, his younger brother he barely knew, who helped Balinor providing money and a safe place to hide.

now that i think about it, besides ✨Merlin needs to live for the plot✨ why did Morgause and Morgana leave Merlin tied up in the forest when they easily could have offed him

i feel like the writers really wrote themselves into a corner with Morgana and Merlin’s relationship because they needed Morgana to stay evil, but maybe they quite purposefully made that shit as frustrating as possible 😅
