Didn't see much in the way of birds when I visited the Centerton fish hatchery on May 4, 2025. Did get a couple of shots of the ones I did see during the brief trip. Top: Mourning Dove (Zenaida macroura) on a power line Middle: Eastern Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis borealis) that was circling above Bottom: American Robin (Turdus migratorius) that was hunting for bugs/worms along the hatchery's fencelin

Various flowers spotted at the Centerton fish hatchery when I visited on May 4, 2025.

Creeping Buttercup (Ranunculus repens) and Water Speedwell (Veronica anagallis-aquatica) filled the spring-fed drainage ditches. Meanwhile the berms around the hatchery ponds had tiny flowers such as Bluets (Houstonia caerulea) and Carolina Geraniums (Geranium carolinianum) hidden in the grass.
