African Spurred Tortoise (Centrochelys sulcata). They are the largest mainland species of tortoise, and the third largest species in the world after Galapagos and Aldabra tortoises.

Couldn't see the corona yesterday because of cloud cover in Johnson City, but I did manage to get a pic of an African Spur Tortoise taking a nap.
I was here in Houston with the Boyfriends, and we couldn't really see much either. The occasional clearing in the clouds gave us a few looks.
African Spurs are one of my favorites. I used to know a truly massive one that loved getting scritches.
