My babies!

As of today 24/5/19 I have 8 living babies, a maidenhair fern, two snake plants, an aloe plant, a jade plant, a cactus and two succulents I'm not too sure of their names. You can see I have cuttings from a large bathroom cactus that wasnt doing well that I hope to reroot 😊

Wee update: figured out my last two guys are echeveria agavoides and cereus peruvianus

So this is where it started. After killing several houseplants my partner wanted to get new ones. I was against it since they would be dead in a few months. From the four plants we bought, this Cereus Peruvianus is only one left. My partner chose it, he doesn't really like cacti because of the spikes, but this one doesn't have those. I have grown very fond of it. It feels like other plants might die in our care but this one will still survive.

Meet Barry.

Totally lucked out today and picked up some free Cereus Peruvianus Cactus cuttings! They came from a 20yo mother tree that had cuttings up to 4m long! The longest cutting I got was about 1m — a more manageable size! Can’t wait to get these guys into the ground! 🌵
