What do you think of non-virgin!Yuuri? Personally I'm too attached to the idea of Yuuri being a virgin that I just can't see it other way. Yuuri doesn't strike me as someone who's thought too deeply about sex (unless it involves researching what type of lube to use to fap to Victor with, lol -- or look up sexual positions/gay porn). The only time I can accept non-virgin!Yuuri is during porn star AUs because the set-ups usually make sense there from how they're written. That's just me, though!

Right!! I think both are possible options - Yuuri being or not a virgin. 

Personally, I think it’s very possible that he’s had some relationship in the past, though I don’t think it went too far considering that Yuuri’s first and foremost concern is skating and, on second place, his education. He could’ve had dates that didn’t go too far (free interpretation here: not meaningful, not lasting more than a couple of weeks, no sexual relationship) but he’s not unknowledgeable at all. 

So it wouldn’t strike me as surprising if Yuuri was a virgin before meeting Victor, just like it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that Yuuri has had a relationship in the past. What I think is unlikely is Yuuri being a playboy and a heartbreaker in general. 

Relationships are laborious lbr and when you have anxiety, college and competitions to juggle I think you end up dropping something that’s not so crucial in the process (namely romantic relationships). When he’s done with one or the other maybe Yuuri could fit some time to go on dates and things of the sort, but I don’t think it’s a priority. In general, I think he’d mostly opt out of it. 

(TBH here it’s really hard to think of Yuuri crushing on anyone else that’s not Victor. Might just be me, though.)

I’m really convinced Yuuri, just like Victor, prioritizes skating above all else and that sort of narrows his views. People might have shown interest in him and he politely refused because I can’t focus on dating right now, I have a big competition coming and as it was just a superficial attraction it doesn’t last long enough until he’s done with the competitive season.

@arii-on-ice: it’d be too long to explain, but I recommend you go to hanleia’s Twitter. She just posted evidence of Karice’s bullshit, namely that if Victuuri is confirmed to have a romance, she won’t buy the BDs. She even tried to pull the oppression card by claiming that asexuals have it worse than the LGBT when she got called a “homophobe” (which, according to Karice, it’s a ~slur~)

I wonder why she bought the BDs considering they’re canon. :o

erghugfh and like she’s not even asexual nor is she trying to argue anything about asexuality in YOI. She just brings it up out of the blue to divert the topic at hand. And like a lot of the people who responded on CC, I’m asexual, and it’s like can you kindly shut the fuck up and stop using something I am to be homophobic with? It has nothing to do with this at all and you know it doesn’t. You’re just babbling. 

I thought the WORST ONE was when she tried to use Kubo’s tweet about a world with no homophobia to be not about that, but to be about not discriminating against fans who think they aren’t canon. It’s this tweet.

But the tweets are all awful, and she’s arguably worse than Tora.

Question! Do you have to write fics for all seven days, or can you pick and choose which day to focus on as long as it takes place within the week?

You aren’t stuck to only posting one work per day (or one work per prompt). You can submit as many works for any particular prompt as you like, so if you wanted to submit 7 days worth of submissions for day 2′s prompt (as a random example) then go for it!

The only rule to remember is that you cannot submit a work before that day has officially begun.

Using day 2 again, as an example, you could submit 7 day’s worth of posts using day 2′s prompt but you cannot submit any of them on day 1 as day 2 will have not officially started yet. But after day 2 has started then you can spread your posting out as you like as long as it’s all posted before the week has ended.
