Just a little ref. 10 to start your day off right. This one was inspired by the amazing Ao3 story The Gravity Before written by the amazing Rosie_Pines which is an adorable and hilarious story on Archive of Our Own (I’ve included a link to the story below if you want to read it I would highly recommend). Their writing s so top tier and that’s along something coming from a writing major, their character exploration is very sweet and I give it all my praise. Anyhow Rosie_Pines know that you are goated in my eyes and I can’t wait to see the next update.

Also I have to say I was so happy to finally get to draw Carl, he is one of my favorite characters in PHM and I think his dynamic with Grace is just perfect in and outside of an Agere headcannon. He’s so straight forward and blunt but also very caring and fun to be around, the scene of him and Grace playing in the hardware store is literally the cutest thing(I also love the ‘We don’t need a coupon we’re the government’ line, it always cracks me up) It’s giving the babysitter who gives their little candy even when their Guardian says no because ‘Startt’s not here right now and you’re partially responsible for the fate of the world so have some skittles’. I love them all so much and hope y’all enjoy the drawings💙✨

I also want to note that @hyperingthefixation also made a drawing for this story and it’s very cute so I would check it out if I were you.🫶

hi !! for the art suggestions thing - i can't get out of my head a sleepy grace hugging and napping on stratt just trying to do some work at her desk :,) trying to sign papers or read something on her computer and she has the tiniest guy ever draped all over her snoozin away 💤

Both love and hate the implications of Grace having gear in your PHM regression art…. Because that means someone had to pack it.

Hehe yes they were packed for him! Carl and Stratt made sure he had his comfort items <:) I imagine it was just his stuffie and his binky though, maybe a baby blanket and a chewy necklace? I don't think he had very much gear. We see that he's plenty good at making his own fun with stuff he finds around the ship though! And if there's a disco ball and a fox mask, I'm sure there's some good ole fashioned art supplies in there hehe :P

Hey if anybody has cute (or other descriptors work too tbh) Project Hail Mary agere prompts or requests that I can draw, lemme know! I can't promise I'll make something, but I'd love some ideas and will try! My favourite ways to depict folks are little Grace, flip Rocky, and caregiver Carl, Stratt, and Adrian! I have zero knowledge on Iron Lung, sorry BloodyMary enjoyers. I'd also prefer not to draw Grace being *noticeably* padded, not cos I think there's anything wrong with it, but just that I don't feel super comfortable drawing it! Feel to see him that way though!
