Orihime in her nature is a pacifist, she doesn't like to hurt people. And what I think Hachi is telling her that that is fine. She doesn't have to force herself into the combatant image that she sees in her friends. She has her own way of combat and that is fine.

Sometimes the place you're at makes it feel like what others are doing should be the norm. That you should be doing that. And you fall in that internal battle of trying to act like something you aren't, and when you fail at doing so, you beat yourself up over it.

That's why it is better to focus on what you want. You can't go wrong that way. You are doing something you're good at and that feels natural to you. Don't limit yourself to how you should be, open up and feel okay to be yourself.
