Almost immediately after finding out that Zunesha is alive, Luffy switches the way he refers to it- from コレ/kore (‘this’) to あいつ/aitsu (‘that person’).

When Bakkin tells Weevil she forgives him ‘because she loves him,’ the way she does so is... weird. It’s all in katakana, literally spelling out what she’s saying in English- ビコーズアイラビュー/bikōzu ai rabyuu! (‘Because I love you!’)

It strikes me as very theatrical and false, compared to all the other, more sincere declarations of parental/familial love using words like daisuki and aishiteru we see throughout the series from people like Bellemere, Corazon, and Whitebeard himself- the contrast with the latter seems particularly noteworthy in this case.
