Before reading the newest chapter: ah so excited!!!
The ending: no nonono nonono No NO!!
I am so scared right now...😨
excuse me (✿◠‿◠)
BUT-
YOU DO REALISE THIS IS THE SAME CHAPTER (✿☉‿☉)
Don't even get me started on how it's emphasized amon is alway's put in situation's where he either confront's the person or/and has a conversation with an important topic that we hear of in later chapter's and we all know that when amon ask's about anything the answer is alway's important so we expected a long answer and the typical
"He's my friend" oh but how we were wr on g
Instead we got "because i love him" and " is there another reason" then amon look's down (hiding a smirk!!!????) And say's "no" like there's no need for you to say more i get it manner (this has truly turned in a shounen and i'm lovin' it lmao) plus we haven't seen akira's reaction? She know's more about love then both of them so...???? Now in the other two page's tsukiyama ask's itori why and uta answer's m casualy "he's my friend" but let's compare that to the one with hide the panel hide's was a like half page while uta's was a small on the right and in hide's it was emphasized this is a full on fledged confession and i know people will fight and say he mean't it as a friend but you gotta know that there are three type's/way's of the word and meaning of love in japanese
The concept of "love" and "like" in japan is a lil hard to grasp for starter's "suki" mean's both love/like
And there's another word for "i love you" (aishiteru) and it's not commonly used it's only reversed for the people that are special in there live's this word is not just used when spoken but when you honsetly love
Aishiteru has a more developed meaning as in much more weight to the word and you say "i love you" in english they say "suki" or "daisuki" (really like) in japanese but it isnt that big of a deal because saying "suki" or "daisuki" could be also used for like other item's/thing's and also love and "aishiteru" is only for the feeling love
Now back to what i was saying i'm not a translator so i don't know what type he was saying but ye i hope you learnd a thing or two and i hope i explained it well but like could you imagine what kaneki reaction would be i he heard that from hide oml it'll be like
"Hide said he loved me......nobody ever said that to me" yoooo if you got that ref 👀
Anyway the translator translated it to love that's not really common in manga so my hope just sky rocketed ✨😆

ASSCLASS CH.148 (RAW)
The Strength That Grew from Concrete
Witnessing the confrontation from afar, Hinata can't help but harbor the same look of determination that he held back then in which he felt a sense of anger on behalf of the Aobajousai team, who Ushijima callously referred to as barren soil where nothing can grow.
Feeling he shares the same resolve as his partner, as well as the desire to take what Oikawa had ((more or less)) entrusted to them, the duo goes back to their team with a renewed sense of purpose as they prepare for yet another arduous battle that will await them on the court.
It’s time to show the strongest team in the prefecture what the strength that was grown from the concrete can really do.
