…… Hello all. I just read…. Not twenty minutes ago, the chapter that has replaced my heart with a crack in the middle. Juvia…. *shudders* My favorite character in the whole thing has apparently… died. I know you guys like my reactions and all, but this is a serious one. In fact, in the past, some people asked me why my characters don’t kill much. Well, there’s a reason for that, especially with Mizumi. One reason is that I don’t like killing. Two…. Because in situations like a certain person dying, Mizu wouldn’t be able to control himself. Love you all… Now here is how a certain other water mage takes this apparent death.

Mizumi was still getting pummeled by that one soldier until a roar of an engine was heard. Hiro was racing towards them until he slams the emergency brake button and sends himself flying right into the soldier like a red bullet, grabbing him, and throwing the enemy into his peers. “Mizumi…! Dude, are you okay!?” The fire mage yelled as he ran up to check on his best friend.
The water mage’s shirt and vest were torn to shreds from all of the spears he clashed with and wasn’t quick enough to dodge. Cuts on his torso could be seen as blood only stain the little parts they occured around. His face heavily bruised from the attack. “Better… than those guys. Hehe. Thanks, Hiro.”
Hiro looked down upon his friend as he helped him up, knowing something happened, but he didn’t want to tell him.
“Hiro… What’s wrong?” Mizumi asked in a worried tone. “Are Zayne and the others okay?”
Hiro nodded slowly. “Mizumi… I saw a fight as I rode by. That chick, Juvia was chained up to Gray. They were fighting each other. While a spriggan was watching…”
Chills went up Mizumi’s spine before they both noticed that the blizzard ended. “No…. They would never fight each other! They are from the same guild!” He said as tears started to form. Mizumi turns quickly and holds his head with one hand to try and calm himself. “ANGEL EYES!” His pupils quickly change and start to glow a bright blue. He put his determination into the direction Hiro came from, until he saw a familiar magic signature among all the others that were fighting… and it was dim. “No… No, No! NO!!” Mizumi screamed in a panic as he started running towards the fighting.
“Mizumi, wait!” Hiro yelled as he started running after him, but he was lacking in the speed his friend managed to move at the time. He reached for the lacrima communicator strapped to his belt and sent a group transmission. “Zayne, Fumio, Hitori! Whoever is in this area, head towards Mizu’s location! Something is going on!”
As Mizumi finally reached the area, he noticed the walls and floor partially covered in ice. “Juvia… Juvia Sama where are you!?” He said with panic and worry in his eyes. That was until he ran around the corner and saw her laying there. “Juvia Sama!!” He screamed as he ran over and turned her body face up. “No… No!!” He hesitantly put two of his fingers on her neck and felt no pulse. “No…” Tears began to build up even more as they trail down his cheeks, hitting the ground while glowing with a blue glow. “I should’ve came to help you…. I’m so sorry… Juvia, please don’t leave! I… I loved you!” He never thought he’d confess himself like this. But to him… he needed to do it.
“Hey! It’s another guild mage! Kill him!” A general yelled as he saw Mizumi kneeling at Juvia’s body. An entire two platoons right behind him, with spears and magic blasters at the ready.
“….. Leave us alone…!” Mizumi yelled with his voice slightly cracking from how broken he was. After kissing Juvia’s forehead and slowly putting her hat back on her head, the water mage slowly stood up and turned his head with a glare that would make Zayne even stop in his tracks. “Leave Juvia Sama alone…!” He has had enough of everything. This war, all the fighting…. everything. Seeing her like that… brought back the memories of when his parents were killed. The words Nero spoke to him before he left. ‘With your strength, you won’t be able to protect anyone.’
His eyes opened after remembering those words. The angel eyes started to change shape as blue aura bursts from his body. “HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
“Hold your ground, men! He’s just one person. Make him fall like the rest!” The general said as his voice sort of faltered.
In the distance, Zayne running towards where Hiro’s location was, but stopped with a cold sweat in his brow. “That… that’s… Mizumi!? He must’ve acheived…true angel mode…!”
As the blue aura lessened, Mizumi’s pupils were circles with a slit through the middle. He spoke no words as he started walking towards the enemy and gripped his shirt to tear it and the vest off, tossing the clothing to the ground. The scars on his torso glowing also, and the Sabertooth guild mark on his collar bone visible. “This is for you… Juvia Sama.” He said as he drew the katana strapped to his back and dashed right at the enemy. “GET READY, BECAUSE I’M NOT GOING TO LET ANYONE DIE EVER AGAIN!!!”
“Open fire!!!” Magic blasters fired and hit his body as he ran. They hurt, but it wasn’t enough to keep him from getting to the enemy.
The water mage jumped into the air and formed a giant water drill in his free hand before bringing it down in the middle of the enemy. “GIGA WATER DRILL!” Screams of pain filled the air as the drill broke bones and armor on impact. After landing, he turned and held his katana with both hands and clashed against every spear with skill and precision. When he saw an opening, he slashed and stabbing the unlucky enemy and sends them to the ground. It started to get alittle crowded around Mizumi before he closes his eyes and starts materializing water around his body, like an armor. Blaster fire made hits, but the water protected their master before literal arms grew out and formed a head. “WATER ANGEL TRANSFORMATION- OCEANUS!!” Yelled Mizumi in the middle of the literal body of water as his katana floated around him. He puts his hands together, and the Oceanus copied, making a giant magic circle. “WATER DRAGONS!!” Large watery serpents started to grow out of Oceanus and fly right into the enemy, biting and lashing their bodies around in disarray. The katana suddenly stops and was grabbed by Mizumi before Oceanus made its own water copy and started slashing into the enemy, as they were almost gone. “THIS IS FOR JUVIA!!” He screamed while slashing. “I’ll end you all here and now!!!” He said before putting his hands together once more and started flowing water around him and the group of soldiers. A dome of water surrounding them. “WATER ANGEL’S DRAGON DOME!” The water dragons suddenly grew water drill teeth and went feral, tearing into whoever they could. The dome of water began to turn red. After the screaming stopped, the done burst and splashed into the ground. Mizumi was on one knee, being held up by his sword in the ground. All of the enemies were either dead or unconscious as they laid on the ground. Expect for one… the commander stood up slowly while holding his bleeding side.
“Please…. have mercy… I surrender!”
“NO CHANCE…!” Mizumi said as he lashes a water tendril around the man’s waist and pulled him right into a fist. The man groaned in pain as he laid back on the ground. “I’m not finished…” Mizumi said before putting his foot on one of the general’s arm and started punching with all his might. Dents started to appear on the helmet as his knuckles started bleeding and hurting. When he was about to punch again, his arm was caught, and he turned to punch whoever it was, but he stopped.
“Mizumi…. It’s okay. Just stop…” Atticus said as he stood there with a worrisome look on his face. “Please. Just let it out.”
Mizumi’s angry look started to sink as it turned to sadness and agony. Sniffling, he tried to hold back the tears, but then started crying before hugging his master. “Gh.. Wah… Aaaaah!”
Atticus looked down at one of his students with tears of his own. Hiro, Zayne, Hitori, and Fumio stood right behind him. “I am so sorry… That I didn’t come sooner. You five have suffered through all of this without me. And I am proud of you all. But when I see one of my children cry….” He turns his head towards approaching enemy soldiers, but the sight of his white eyes sent them walking back on fear. “That is when they cross the line. All of you.”
“Sir!” All except for Mizumi said out of respect.
“You have my permission to not follow my code for now. Use whatever you can to help end this war. Here… use my magic to help awaken your true angel modes for the time being.” Their master said as he held is hand out and his stardust magic flowed into the four of them. “Now… show those bastards what it’s like when they mess with one of our family.
"YES SIR!” They all said before turning their heads with a glare and all angel eyes activating, multiple colors glowing as their aura showed.
