After what feels like an eternity, the group of players who had been at Chip Jack’s table wrap up their game and wander off.

When Tenna finally gathers the chutzpah to reach out, he instantaneously puts on a facade of nonchalance. He forces his grin to look effortless and strums the slot machine next to him, trying to seem idle rather than tense and anxious.

“Look who it is!” Tenna calls out. Despite his efforts, there’s a severity in his voice that betrays him. There are fangs visible in his smile, which is gradually beginning to twitch. "Who knew you’d be so good at following house rules?”

If someone had told her everything that was about to happen to her...she would have thought they were crazy. But it wasn't anything out of a dream...it was real. So real that she started to question her own reality... When she went to the library's computer room, she hadn't expected to open the door to complete and utter darkness, and strangely...it's like she felt a pull, almost like something was calling her to step into the darkness. And even if she was scared, she still did so. Be it fate or her curiousness that took over, but she would come to deeply regret her choice. After being plunged in utter darkness, she found herself in a completely dark environment, standing on a green colored platform as she started to wander around. Minutes passed, and she already ended up in a bustling digital city, looking around with eyes full of wonder. But that excitement would soon be replaced with utter fear as she started to get chased and attacked by strange looking beings, entering into battles she never even wanted and ending up injured. She tried her best to avoid everyone, walk through alleyways to not get spotted, but she looked far too different for her to not be noticed.

In only a few minutes, she looked like an absolute mess, clothes torn up, cuts and bruises everywhere, and her glasses standing lopsided on her nose. In the end, she felt so weak that she just collapsed in the back of a quiet street, starting to cry and sob. She was so scared, so scared and in so much pain. The cuts on her arms and legs were fresh with blood, and she looked absolutely pitiful. All she wanted was to be home now, away from everything, away from the danger. But she had no idea how to go home, or where to even go...all she could hope for now is to be able to survive.

Solana chuckled awkwardly, still a bit flustered by being caught in this position. It was a little childish, but hey, so were the 80’s.

“Don’t worry, business isn’t that slow. I just, needed a little me time.”

Although, ten long years of being isolated from the rest of the Darkworld should’ve been enough “me time” for anyone else’s life time. Maybe the lamp still wasn’t ready to go back to the hustle and bustle she used to know.
