This just a good arc in general for showing off non-combat related skills for the Straw Hats, and furthers the theme of the Straw Hats leaning on each other to survive.

I also like Nami’s confidence here compared to her initial freakout when climbing up the Knock-Up Stream, because you know the rinky dink whirlpools caused by the Gates of Justice are nothing compared to this

1) a la what he said to Toji. “And you didn’t used that cursed tool when you stabbed me in the head. You lost. You should have cut my head off.”

— he’s clearly in half, but I’m wondering if that really matters given that statement. Gojo regenerated most of his arm, bone, vein, vessels, tissue, etc etc. If he can mend all of that I don’t see why he can’t recover.

2) hIs fRiEnDs

—this was such an odd and heartwarming convo. Several things though. As evidenced by Suguru’s resistance in Kenjaku’s body, Geto’s soul is still held captive inside. To me, I’ve always interpreted heaven or the afterlife as your soul crossing over. If that’s how we’re all supposed to look at it, Geto couldn’t be there.

The death date as well. They die on the same day just one year apart—except Suguru’s soul is still alive. I obviously don’t want anything to happen to Gojo’s soul other than him coming back, but it’s worth noting.

He says bye to all his friends at the end. Why? Gojo clearly missed them, is happy to see them, even wishes Geto were there to motivate him. So why would he leave so soon?

I’m thinking Hajime distracts Sukuna long enough that we get some RCT going and perhaps…we have a re-awakening…idk I’m probably grasping for straws but I refuse to accept this.
