♡: Accidentally falling asleep together Alaric stirred from the sunlight attacking them through the window. His back hurt so bad from falling asleep on the couch and he didn’t even really remember why, or.. really where at first. Then he noticed Simba curling up beside him on the other end of the couch, a sketchbook or two lying around with unfinished drawings and sketches as stationary littered the table. Right, he was working on another comic. And Alaric.. was here for moral support, he tried to doodle a giraffe for fun. But now he felt bad for crashing before Simba did. He pulled the blanket that was cast aside over Simba and got up, maybe making breakfast could make up for the lack of moral support.

Alaric was in the lion enclosure, knowing it’s feeding time and a colleague was helping with the talk to the visitors. He? He was just having fun feeding them, to be very honest. It’s nice to not have to spout lion facts at people every day and just have a bucket in hand, meat being placed around the enclosure. The lions here were adorable, they weren’t the easiest to handle nor love but they’ve never snapped at Alaric before. When the crowd had long dispersed to other things more interesting, he continued to accompany the lions just for a little while, the next feeding for the elephants aren’t till an hour later anyways. But he noticed someone still standing around here, seeming to be paying more attention doodling in his book than anything else. From inside the enclosure, he leaned over and greeted with a smile, “Whacha got there?”
