I ironically find it funny how contrasting their sexual levels are, to go on a more realistic note, I sadly fear they wouldn't be quite healthy in practice, but as a concept, they amuse me. It's an interesting detail to know that Wheylan is fascinated by things that could end his life, the Interloper being a testament to that. It was so fun to purposely have the Interloper's clawed hands free and hovering over his neck.
At any moment if he'd like, Wheylan's mind could become his. But assuming this is set where in it was Wheylan caring and keeping the Interloper hidden, it's only natural he wouldn't dare harm his lord. I only bring it up since Eden would feel,,, hurt to know that the wheelwright thinks of him dangerous. But I also giggle in the possibility of Wheylan being very into it and Eden just doesn't realize it so he's just lowcenuinely taken aback with a "huh" if instead of fear its arousal he hears in the Wheelwright's voice 🥀HI BEE IF THIS IS INNACURATE JUST BRING IT UP AND SUE ME 💔
I GENUINELY LAUGH AND GIGGLE because I think it'd gen catch Eden so offguard. And here he thought he'd have to hurt his savior BUT HE SUPPOSE THIS IS GOOD TOO??

UGH they're a very hard thing to balance </3 I think realistically their relationship could go south very easily, but it's nice to think of the nicer aspects of it yknow? To think of it in a proper lens, Eden isn't in the right headspace to be in a relationship, It's what makes him my most likely to be toxic with how easily he could become obsessive and possessive. His delusions and limited senses distort his reality. It'd be too easy for him to think that the kingdom was taking Wheylan away from him, and what then when the Interloper decides to take matters into his own hands?
I think I'd need to understand further about Wheylan's ability as well!! I frankly like the idea of the shadows being there to guide Eden <3 its a nice thought. But I also sadly think eden would get fussy and argue he'd want Wheylan, not them to guide him 💔dramatic fuck SIGH!!! FORGIVE ME WHEYLAN HE'S A RED FLAG YOU CAN DO BETTER 😭
But to emphasize, I don't think,, Eden means it sometimes. Of course, he doesn't want to be like this. He doesn't like being blind and chained and reliant on his savior. Of course he wishes his mind isn't haunted by hallucinations and delusions. But can you really blame him to hold on just a bit tighter? You're all he has.
Added ramble!! I ENJOYED DRAWING THIS SO BAD!! Minecraft Horror x KoM AU - World Save: Amalgamation AU -> Changed Intimacy

"Little Puddle" they called him, letting him climb into bed and soak up their warmth, uncaring that he is a monster. Or perhaps they cared too much, taking in a monster such as he.
The human cut golden apples and fish into pieces, serving them on a plate as though he was a human. They smiled tenderly at him, dripping healing potions into his wounds and securing bandages around his midsection. Precious things, he's come to understand. The human needs those, too.
He wanted to repay their kindness.
And now, he gets to.
He lays under the covers, arms loosely wrapped around the other's waist. Slowly, every so slowly, easing them into his embrace. He listens as the humans' breath evens out, their body reaching to hold him in return.
He'll join them in the realm of the sleeping soon, but he just wants one more look, one more moment to bask in what he has been given.
This needs to be protected, he thinks, he knows. He needs to protect this. No matter the cost, he can not lose this feeling of belonging, of comfort, of connection.
He just can't.

Anyways:
This is specifically in the World Save: Amalgamation universe, with a focus on a ship I have severely neglected: ChainedShadow, which is Eden (Interloper) and Wheylan (Wheelwright) together.
However, you can also interpret both images in a platonic-adjacent manner. I find it extremely hilarious that this is probably the healthiest these two have been in any iteration, even compared to the DarkCage AU I am writing, though that is a very low bar now that I think about it.
Wheylan is a human who yearns for more permanent companionship. They want people who are actually able to stay. To build a proper connection with. He is used to people coming by for a quick stop, and while he is happy to give them supplies and a room to sleep in (among other things), he still wishes he could find someone who he can just, click with. All beings in these Minecraft horror AUs dance with death, but he doesn't think it would be appropriate to say he's seeking to court death, in a sense.
Eden is an entity that stemmed from a hive mind. A weak little thing, though by no fault of his own; he just emerged like that. Strength takes time. He, too, seeks a genuine connection, affection from someone who means it. Once he has it, he wants to keep it. The hive must grow stronger. Through strength, he can bring sanctuary and safety. Something poetic.
Here is an extra picture of Wheylan and Eden sleeping without the blankets because I drew this before I drew the blanket and wondered why I did that.
