This was the first, and I got another, so he's next.

How I feel about this character: Equius may have been intended as kind of a joke character, but I don't see him that way. He's kind of terrible, but also tragic and sad. He had the potential to be a decent person, but it was warped by his childish clinging to highblood ideals (which he didn't seem to be very comfortable with) and his discomfort with and inability to handle his own body and urges. 

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Always pale with Nepeta. Red with Karkat and Dirk. I'm open to other ships that aren't Aradia -- I don't think she should have to deal with his bullshit. 

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Equius/robotics.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I honestly don't know what constitutes popular versus unpopular opinions about him, but -- I don't think his sweating problem is funny, I don't think his strong fetishes and confusion about them are funny, and while I think the musclebeast art is kind of amusing, I don't see it as the huge OMG SO WEIRD AND GROSS thing the comic seems to want to make it out to be. I don't think he's sweet, though, or 'really' a good guy. I think had the POTENTIAL for being one, but as he was, he was way too uptight, avoidant of his fetishes while trying to indulge in them, too wound up in societal expectations and then absurdly shocked when he acted on them and hurt people (that chip in Roboaradia's heart). He was very 13 in some of the worst ways (for him and for others).

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I hope he gets free of ARquiusprite, because AR is a horrible little shit and he doesn't deserve to be in his thrall (and I strongly believe AR is running the show there).
