How about some more furniture posts? The Sherlollians seem to be so interested in what types of furniture Molly’s going to be, and if it doesn’t fit their liking, they get grumpy about it! Oh, it just gets so good! Thanks, loves, for supplying us with endless laughter.
This is the chair someone posted. To us, it reminds us of the cute crazy bobble jumper that Molly wears in s3 and s4. She’s bold and cute, so here’s the chair!
But wait.... the Sherlollians didn’t like that, so they posted this....
Should we start making a list of things we’re not allowed to do so we don’t hurt the Sherlollians’ feelings? Oh wait. Nah. We don’t give a damn about that.
So maybe we should write down adjectives we’re not allowed to use when mentioning Molly? Anything that might be too demeaning?
“single”
“cute”
“poor”
“small”
“crazy”
“silly”
“girly”
Anyone want to add to the list that we shouldn’t say around the ultra-sensitive Sherlollians?
John acknowledges his chair as His Chair, despite the fact that Sherlock bought the chair before John moved in.
I like that John’s chair is virtually spooning Sherlock’s X
When John returns to 221B he returns to find his chair covered in this.
Chairlock reminds me of Hitchhiker's guide. I can just imagine Sherlock and John as the chairs talking to each other. 'John...' 'Yes?' 'I think I'm a chair.' 'I know how you feel.'
Do you think there is a certain reason why Henry (client from HoB) was allowed to sit in Johns chair when he was presenting his case to Sherlock and John?
Sherlock isn't fussy about John's chair until John gets married. Lots of people sit in John's chair until then--Mrs. Hudson, Mycroft, Irene. He even offers it to Moriarty (though Moriarty takes Sherlock's chair in a power play). Sherlock doesn't get territorial about it until after the wedding when he doesn't want to be reminded of John, when he no longer wants to see it (and possibly doesn't want Janine to sit in it...though that's speculative).
Also with Henry Knight in John's chair, from Henry's POV we get the shot of Sherlock pumping his entire body craving "cigarettes" and then John gets an eyeful of Sherlock leaning over Henry (aka John if he were in his chair) hungrily sniffing...so much pent-up sexual bromance tension all round.
Inspired by this post, I decided to science. This crappy gif is the result. It doesn't give any answers to the mystery, as to whose idea it was to pull the chairs closer together on the stag night, but what it does show though is that it is supposedly Sherlock's chair that is placed further back. I'll leave you to your deductions.
