A few weeks ago I semi-spontaneously bought a job lot of old boxes containing various art tools, including some Reeves’ “Greyhound Pastels”, which I would probably date back to the 60s/70s. A couple of days ago I decided to put these middle-aged crayons to the test.  Very happy with the results! I love the colour of this brown pastel - it reminds me of the chalk sketches done by artists in the 18th century, so I decided to try and emulate it by editing the tone of the image a bit on Photoshop to further resemble one such sketch. But anyway, enough rambling about art history. Enjoy!
