Challenges are pretty straight-forward. You do the Challenge, you get a point. You don’t do it, you don’t get a point. There’s no grading, this is purely participation based. When you get a point, the point goes into the Point page, conveniently located at /points haha.
Because we’re exploring specific threads until Jan 31st, and of course still working on old ones, we’re going to roll out two additional Challenges to keep you busy. But as such, they are time sensitive.
This Challenge is “Never Have I Ever.” This is our third Ask Meme Challenge (following up #002 and #008) and it’s time restricted. Please finish asking and answering by midnight, 01/30/17, which gives you a few days. Tag you first answer posts (not others) with both #chvrchesrp and #chvrchpoint so we can be sure to tally you! Instructions are as follows:
The idea is, as always, to get you more in your character’s head, create headcanons, flesh them out, explore them, etc, in new and fun ways.
How do you play?
If you wish to participate, turn on the Anon option for your /ask box.
Go to another character’s /ask and leave a NHIE for their character.
That player will then respond as the character would about the question.
For every /ask you get, go leave a NHIE in another person’s /ask.
For tonight’s theme, please phrase your ask as “Have you ever [blank]?” or “Would you ever [blank]?” The character that received the ask would then reply either way, or mysteriously, or however the character would respond.
Feel free to ask questions that make the mun think or consider new headcanons or aspects of their muse’s lives they may not have before—this works best with ‘small’ questions (“have you ever worn glitter?” / “would you ever do a one night stand?” / “have you ever made a food from scratch?”) but go where ever your curious fingers lead you!
As of right now Amelia is heading to Cambridge to get a degree in History, so she can write books about historical events and also become a college professor. If for some reason her opportunities were taken away or something changed in her life I think she would become a travel writer. Amelia is the product of two parents who were constantly on the move, travel is in her blood, and any career she chased would have to have some element of travel. Another thing about Amelia is that she loves to write and if she is not writing academic literature, then I can see her writing about her travel experiences. She would write about the authentic countries as they are instead of the tourist attractions people see them as. She would also write about the various people she meets on her travels, making sure to showcase the essence of all the places she ends up staying.
Of course traveling writing can be less than lucrative at times, so she would get odd jobs to make sure she could stay afloat as she went to country after country.
As long as Amelia has a chance to travel, stimulated intellectually, and has a bit of adventure in her life then she will have considered herself lucky to live a great life.
