Challenge 89: Scientific Illustration: Voyage of the Beagle For our Scientific Illustration theme, I decided to go a slightly different direction with my subject matter. Instead of focusing on the individual plants, animals and specimens, I chose to draw a scene with the individuals that go out into nature to document and record. In particular, I was inspired by Charles Darwin’s journeys on the HMS Beagle. Here is a scene of Darwin sketching out in the jungles of Rio de Janeiro.  —Casey
