We need bath towels! Please help us. Our shelters have recently asked us for bath towels and we are all out. Full size bath towels in any condition are really appreciated. We deliver items weekly to our shelters so just bring the towels to our donation drop off and we will make sure they get there asap. We do NOT sell towels at our store so you can be assured they will go to those in need. Please tell your family, friends, office, co workers. Every little bit helps and you would be surprised how much a small gesture such as taking a shower can help get you going in the right direction. 40 days of donations begins today and we are asking for mens jeans. It only takes 2 to 3 to fill up a small bag and if 10 people donate we make a huge dent. This is our number one most requested item from the homeless and we do our best to hand them out on fridays and also to assist those in need throughout the week here at our store. Please make sure they are jeans and not just pants as pants and slacks will absorb water and the cold and are rarely of use. With the cold and wet weather it reminds us how thankful and lucky we are. But some are not so fortunate. Please take a moment to look in your closet, garage, shed, or storage unit for one special item: sleeping bag. This is our most sought after donation and most requested by those in need. We don't get many, but if a few people each donated one and told a friend and they donated one, I bet we could make a difference.
