September 2013 with the Raspberry Pi
I managed to get everything working. I just needed to use PiMAME (opposed to RetroPie, which refused to play games through EmulationStation, and ChameleonPi, which was slow). I played a bit of Cave Story through the AdvanceMenu successfully. My current task is installing the emulators and getting Bluetooth to work. (I just want the keyboard to work upon boot, but the keyboard not only needs to be turned on while holding a button before connecting but also gets its connection shut off when idle for some time, requiring me to manually reconnect.)
I also plan on being more experimental using my other (4GB) SD Card (named 'Mogul') with Arch Lignux, but I plan on using either the awesome windows manager or a combination of EDE and tinywm. Right now, though, my efforts are on my 64GB card (named 'Naugus').
