Had the funniest dream

So we were in college assigned a homework about something and like basically there was Vishnu, right, but like a form of him, as a king. And he was married to a woman.

And the prophecy was like the Lakshmi avatar would be a born a man and "would eventually lie with Vishnu's avatar in his clothes" (wild). Mind you during the beginning of the dream I wasn't aware this was gay shit.

So like Lakshmi's avatar actually grew up to be such a handsome man that the word spread about his beauty, and when it reached Vishnu's avatar bro was lowkey jealous of him ☠️

But anyways his wife also helped him a lot in fulfilling this prophecy and it's like so sad that she got married to a man who was destined to be in love with another man like 😭

Why are you even dreaming of Vishnu-Chanchal gay stuff

Also who was that wife anyway... I mean it wasn't Lakshmi so muat be some normal human... 😭😭😭😭 Damn sad for her frrrr

Gib me Mohini x Chanchal headcanons cuz that's mah parents and newda know dem :3

So in this AU Mohini is an avatar and not just a changeable form.

When Mohini first saw Chanchal in the forest she already knew she was Vishnu, and hence the way her jaw dropped cuz obv she realized it was Lakshmi. Chanchal saw her frozen in enchantment and at the time he wasn't aware it was Mohini (cuz he wasn't enlightened yet) so he approached her but Mohini ran away so fast and he was just like "......Well that was weird."

The next time they meet is in Chanchal's palace where Mohini was invited for a party his dad had thrown. Chanchal sees her again while greeting the guests and she just shies away. He smiles affectionately but doesn't try to talk. It was only after a while when he's really curious and just approaches her while she's talking to her maiden friends.

"Hi um. I hope you remember me. In the forest?"

Mohini is frozen again. She doesn't know why. She has always been the enchantress kind, not the enchantee but somehow not a word comes out of her mouth without stuttering in front of him.

"I-yeah um *clears throat* mhm?"

Chanchal is melted with the way she's shy and like asks if they can talk if that's okay and she gives in. "Getchur act together, Mohini!"

So they talk and eventually they fall in love. Mohini is actually surprised Chanchal didn't go head-over-heels for her instantly, contrary to what usually happens to others.

Now actual hcs

Chanchal is OBVIOUSLY the bigger flirt.

You say anything unnecessarily bad about Mohini, Chanchal will find you. He's VERY protective when he needs to be and easy-going when he needs to be. Perfect balance.

Mohini confessed first. Chanchal may be flirtatious but he is one clueless blorbo. He flirts like no one's gonna take him seriously.

Mohini had a hard time convincing Chanchal was Lakshmi and when he found out he got very overwhelmed. Mohini took his head in her arms and solaced him. (Realization that yer a god is a hard pill to swallow after all)

And yeah that's pretty much it kinda shsjksjs
