“I lied,” Suraj admits, examining his nails carelessly.
“You lied? I could have died, genius!”
“But you didn’t,” Suraj snaps. “You didn’t, you’re alive, and you saved the lives of a couple people. Congrats. Now you’ve just got to safe a few hundred more and we’re good.”
basics: 14. he's dubbed the 'tech guy' of the service, but he literally does everything else as well, except work out on the field. HE'S SUCH AN ASSHOLE. literally, if he weren't on the good guy's side he'd be the antagonist of this story for sure. anyways axkjfdfkhds. on to the actual character intro bit.
looks: tall. messy black hair, brown eyes & rich copper skin. has a pen in his mouth like 80% of the time. you'll find him wearing either a. sweatpants b. a full on suit [literally i'm not even kidding. a SUIT.] or c. a kurta. he loves his kurtas btw. AND he looks good in them.
personality: he's such an asshole. [i've said this a lot before, GUESS WHAT, i will elaborate.] he's got a lot of Parent Issues and was taken in by the Service at a really young age; so he grew up with knives and guns and laptops and the like. he's snarky as shit, and will beat you down [like with words] if he thinks it'll help you. even if it doesn't help you he'd do it anyways if you irritate him [EVERYONE irritates him] or if you messed up somewhere. would ruin you heartlessly & mercilessly in front of everyone. if it came down to it, he'd sacrifice one person whom he really cares about to save the world. he's cocky, overconfident [and for good reason; he's practically the best operative there is and he KNOWS it], arrogant, short-tempered and just a Shithead. but underneath all that bluster, there's a kid, just 14 years old, remember, who's insecure and has abandonment issues. he's repressed all his emotions and it definitely isn't healthy; but he's never had anyone to listen to him. he's lonely. really fucking lonely. his parents leaving him [and each other] Fucked Him Up Bad, and he saw some really terrible things that destroyed his faith in people. + he's struggling with himself, conflicted about his identity, and he hasn't figured out who he is, just yet. suraj carries the weight of the world on his stupid shoulders, and will take on every problem by himself because he doesn't know to ask for help. he's not a coward in any way, or form. he will lie if it's for the good of the world, and will also lie in general [he’s a damn good liar]. extraordinary at manipulating people. he can be counted on to make the tough decisions. he's also got the Big Brother instinct.
other cool things: i think i gave a lot of info in the personality thing ksjdhs. but, a few fun facts!! 1, he knows he's Fucked up. he's so deeply aware of his flaws. also, he's really bad at apologising but he tries anyways. i love him so much. he’s a bad person but he’s trying to get better. love him.
