As someone heavy into Warhammer 40k and often posting about myth and legend, I have to inform both the 40k fandom and the mythology fandom that they are sleeping on Mukesh Singh's Mahabharata illustrations depicting the Kurukshetra War, from Grant Morrison's "18 Days" graphic novel.

Sculpture (buff sandstone; 68.58 cm [27 in] high x 28.25 cm [11.1 in] wide x 13.97 cm [5.5 in] thick) of the Hindu deity Shiva, made in the present-day Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in the 3rd century CE. The sculpture dates to the period of the Kushan Empire, when many different cultural influences--Hellenistic, Central Asian, South Asian, Chinese--converged to create a syncretistic style of art.

Gotta love(sarcastically) when non hindu people(mostly people from the USA from what I've seen) use the image of Ganesha as a sort of proof that hinduism worships "demons" or something

If you think that Ganesha is "demonic" just by looking at paintings of him,Ya'll would lose your minds seeing an image of any ugra avtar or tantric imagery and it SHOWS

Can you, like, decide when spirits see you, just like you decide when you see them? Because the idea of spirits seeing me in the shower is not very flattering

First of all, I completely understand the concern and I am not laughing. (I am laughing.)

Here's the thing though, spirits (again, a weird generalization here, I'm using the term VERY loosely) are not just hanging around waiting for something interesting to happen. They have their own existence, their own concerns, their own things going on. You are not being watched 24/7. Like, you are not THAT entertaining.

The idea that they're lurking in your shower is a very human assumption. We tend to think we're the main character of everyone else's story too, including "spirits."

Now can you close their eyes for them? No. You can only control your own perception, not someone else's. But honestly the same applies to humans too and we just kind of accept that and move on.

The more comforting thought is this: even if a spirit happened to pass through your bathroom, you are probably the least interesting thing in their entire dimensional experience. No offense. 💀
